WIN
The blue dial said DO NOT TOUCH.
So Tenten didn't. She didn't touch it. She didn't even go near it. She barely even looked at it long enough to read; she had a mission, and the mission concerned the scroll on the pedestal, not the dial on its side.
But the floor opened anyway in a ring around the pedestal, and Tenten quickly grabbed onto the ledge she was closest to. That ledge proved to be the central island with the pedestal and scroll. She continued to ignore the dial as she snatched the scroll up, and then she ducked as wrecking ball-esque weights came swinging to try and knock her into the water below.
Target acquired, Tenten leaped for the opposite wall and held onto it with chakra, looking down with disdain at the sharks and alligators snapping in an attempt to catch her feet.
Tenten scoffed and ran up the wall to the window she had come through. Perched on the ledge, she tossed a few paper-bombed kunai downwards.
She scaled down the outside of the tower and landed lightly on the ground just as the paper bombs burned up and the tower exploded.
TENTEN: MISSION COMPLETED SUCCESS. +100.
The red button said DON'T PUSH ME.
So Neji didn't. He punched it instead, having located the scroll behind a wall. He hadn't wanted to blast through the wall, so he went for the button, hoping that it would do the job for him.
Instead, the ceiling gave way to a horde of scorpions.
Neji cursed and batted them away as he approached the wall. With a double-handed attack, he smashed through brick and mortar. Reaching for the scroll, his hand brushed up against one of the creatures and it stabbed him with its stinger.
Neji cursed again, smacking it away and stowing the scroll in his pouch as he one-handedly swatted away incoming scorpions.
Then he gave himself a running start and vaulted through the opening in the ceiling so he could treat the poison.
NEJI: MISSION COMPLETED SUCCESS. INJURY SUSTAINED. +97.
The big yellow lever was below a sign that read, "UP=DEATH. DOWN=PAIN."
So Lee walked up to it, deftly stepping around the motion sensors that would trigger the needle launchers in the walls. Then he balanced the lever right in the center of its track, and secured it into place with bandages from his arms.
Then he scooped up the scroll from where it lay on the ground, navigating the same pathway he'd used earlier.
Then he walked right out the door through which he came.
LEE: MISSION COMPLETED SUCCESS. AVERTED ALL CONFLICT. +∞.
Win.
