Pop fizz was not having a good day.
Kaos had gotten away...again. Spiro had snapped at him, He currently had no portal master, And, for the cherry on top, he was having love issues. The little gremlin had been in love with Trigger Happy for about 4 months and had absolutely no idea how to confess to him. He walked into his room and plopped down on his bed.
Pop fizz was about to go to sleep when his phone started ringing. He picked it up and was relieved/annoyed to hear it was Rattle Shake. The two of them had really hit it off when the swap force joined 2 years ago. "Pop fizz!," Rattle yelled "I need help! It's me and Stinkbomb's anniversary and I don't know what to get him!" Rattle was practically yelling by now. "Dude, calm down! Stinkbomb'll love anything you get him. Just calm down, deep breath. Now think, what would he like? Anything he mentioned he wanted?" Pop fizz calmly assured his friend. Rattle Shake, now a lot calmer, suddenly had an idea. "W..Well he did mention this new game coming out…"
Pop fizz smiled "then you got your gift. Hey, while you're on the phone, how did you confess to Stinkbomb?" he asked. Rattle smirked and asked "Why?, you having issues?" Pop fizz turned pink. "Y..Yeah I am." "Well who's the lucky one?" Pop fizz gulped "T…Trigger Happy" Rattle smiled "I knew it, I've seen the way you look at him." Pop fizz giggled nervously "Y…Yeah well any suggestions?" Rattle looked thoughtful for a moment, then said "Okay number 1, act casual, It's not the end of the world if they reject you the first time, number 2, Don't go all Shakespeare on them state your feelings, try to explain them, and hope for the best." Rattle replied.
Pop fizz Nodded knowing he could talk to Trigger tomorrow. "okay, dude, thanks, bye." Pop hung up and went to sleep
The morning sun shone through Pop fizz's window. He got up, ate breakfast and rushed off to go meet Trigger. He was so nervous he thought he was going to pass out. Trigger was out at the shooting range practicing his aim. Pop fizz smiled and raced up to him "Hey, Trigger!" Trigger Happy turned around and smiled when he saw him. "Pop fizz! I wondered when you were going to get here!" Trigger then promptly hugged him. "you wanna go get something to eat. Or something?"
Pop Fizz smiled and nodded his head. "where to?" Trigger suggested a fast food place where they could get their food and head up to a hill where the two of them could eat. As they ordered their food, Pop Fizz was trying to think what to say.
As they headed up the hill, Pop fizz began the feel nervous. He really didn't want to mess up. "hey, Trigger…I really want to tell you something." Trigger looked at him curiously. Pop fizz shut his eyes and said very slowly "For the past couple months I've been having these feelings for you, romantic feelings. I don't know how they started and I certainly don't know why, but I do know that I'm in love with you."
Pop fizz's eyes where still closed really tight. He didn't want to look at Trigger. Suddenly he felt a hand on his face. "Pop fizz," Trigger began. Pop fizz looked up. "I…I have the same feelings for you. I didn't want to tell you cause I thought you'd hate me." Trigger Happy then promptly kissed Pop fizz. Pop fizz's eyes widened, then he started to kiss back. As Trigger broke the kiss Pop Fizz smiled.
Yesterday seemed to suck less now
