Beastboy had been acting weirdly lately esp. around Raven. Robin, being the leader could tell something like a day before the rest of the team, so he had a plan.
"Hey Beastboy! Um … training on the roof this arvo."
"O.K."
Beastboy walked out the door and made his way to his room.
A couple of hours later Robin had found Raven floating in the library.
"Um … training this afternoon, on the roof."
"Whatever."
Robin walked out of the room and went to find the rest of the team and tell them what he had planned.
"So you're hooking Raven and Beastboy up?" Said a confused looking Cyborg.
"Hooking up? What does that mean." Starfire had a weird look on her face.
"It means he's going to get them to kiss." Cyborg replied.
"Yes. Now, I don't want anyone to go on the roof this afternoon, and don't tell them."
That AfternoonThe door opened and Raven appeared.
"Hi Rae … ven." Beastboy added quickly as Raven turned to glare at him. A long time past and nobody showed up.
"Do you think they forgot?" Raven asked Beastboy as she sat down next to him. Beastboy leaned back on his elbows and looked at the pink sky.
"I think they set us up." Raven thought for a moment and then looked pale. They couldn't have known… could they?
"For once you actually make sense." Raven replied dryly. Beastboy looked hurt at this remark.
Raven noticed the depression on his face and wished that she could take back what she had said.
"Look. I'm sorry. That was uncalled for." It was just then that the rain had decided to come pouring down on them.
"Listen, Raven, um … I don't know how to say this but … um … I … I l-love you."
Beastboy closed his eyes and waited to be tossed off the roof. But instead of feeling the ground fall beneath him he felt soft lips pressed against his. Then she pulled away.
"I love you too, Garfeild."
