Normally, after training, the Uchiha would go home. But sometimes, he'd try and be sneaky and watch his favorite and at the same time, least favorite idiot go about his day. Which, uninterestingly enough, included training, eating and making ramen, and making a fool of himself. Mainly, it was the last one, though.
'The idiot can't do anything can he?' Sasuke thought to himself, shoving his hands in his pockets and sighing in irritation. Naruto was trying to get Sakura to go out on a date with him, and he was obviously failing miserably.
"NARUTO, GO AWAY! I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR YOU!" Sakura screamed at the blonde, huffing afterwards, turning away from him, and crossing her arms.
Sasuke decided that enough was enough. The idiot had gotten hit enough, he needed those few remaining brain cells, y'know. And, also, well, the idea of Naruto being in love with Sakura ticked him off a bit. But he was not going to let himself think the next line. Maybe he liked one of them?
Yeah, right. The Uchiha doesn't like anybody. All he cares about is revenge. And Naruto. Yeah, that, too.
...Wait, what?
Anyway, Sasuke stepped into the open and casually walked passed his teammates.
"Sasuke-kun! I was looking for you, do you want to-"
"No." He said curtly, glaring at her. "Just leave."
Sakura lowered her head, nodding slowly, and walked away sadly.
"Sasuke, that was mean! You didn't have to be so...so, cruel to her, you know!" Oh, damn. Making Sakura go away like that always pissed off Naruto. Alot.
The blonde took a swing at Sasuke, who easily dodged it, glaring at his public rival. And private crush, but don't tell anybody that.
"Idiot. Have you noticed the bruises on your face? I was doing you a favor. Live with it."
Naruto stopped, blinking at Sasuke. "...Thanks." He shoved his hands in his pockets, trying to look like he didn't care. He was as tough as Sasuke, yes he was.
Well, most of the time he was, anyway. Sometimes, Naruto showed emotions nobody besides the fangirls would dream of Sasuke showing. The blonde turned to walk away, standing a little too straight, shoulders a little to stiff.
"You don't have to act, idiot. And your welcome." Sasuke walked away first, Naruto staring after him.
"I'm not an idiot, you bastard!" All he got was a grunt and Sasuke's retreating back.
Goddamn, he could be such an asshole sometimes! No wonder he was the Uzumaki's rival.
But you know, sometimes Sasuke could be really sweet. He tried to hide it, but he wasn't such a bad guy, actually.
No wonder Sasuke was his little private crush.
