Character/Pairing: Sideswipe, Megatron; MegatronxSideswipe

Rating: T

Summary: Sideswipe reflects on the changes and the choices he has made since leaving the Autobots.

Disclaimer: Recognizable characters are not mine.

Warnings: slash, heavily implied violence, language, implied intimacy

AN: I totally blame swipeatronsparks for getting me into this pairing. Also a small notice to those reading Defend and Protect, for some reason I'm not able to upload the latest chapter here. Its really quite annoying that it would let me upload this one and not do the same for the other one. However this can be remedied, if you want to keep the next chapters of Defend and Protect, then go click on the homepage link and it will take to the LJ page /my personal comm/ where the story and its newest chapter currently reside. But I definitely keep trying to upload it here!

------------

Had he and Sunstreaker truly been meant to join the Autobots?

No now that he had joined voluntarily the Decepticons and had seen the differences that lay between the two factions, he felt that he had truly found where he belonged.

He had tried to get his brother to join him even and yet Sunny had refused to, stating that the Decepticons were his enemies forever, and now his brother was his enemy as well.

Sideswipe supposed one of the reasons for joining the once enemy faction now his family, was because he had seen something that had completely grabbed his attention since the beginning of the war.

Megatron.

Since he had first laid optics on the silver warlord, he had felt admiration and even seemed to have a small attraction for the faction leader that he knew that his brother didn't approve of.

Not that he bothered to listen to his brother about matters of the spark.

And Megatron wasn't that bad of an interfacing partner.

Of course, back when he was with the Autobots, he should have remembered to be more careful in his exploits and what he said around his more hateful comrades.

And that high grade could loosen a mech's control on his thoughts.

Whatever he had said that night, it had been enough to get him tossed out by the Autobots and disowned by his own twin.

Of course the other Decepticons hadn't made things all that easy for him either and some weren't happy that he had managed to gain the favor of their leader and some of the higher ranking officers.
