Last of my random updating spree. :) You didn't really think you'd just get one RikuShion out of me, did you?

This is set in the middle of "One Hundred Suns," again - you'd also think I would be done adding onto that series - after Riku walks away from Xion. :P This was the only line I never managed to sneak into the drabble series, and it started bothering me again. Ergo, you get to put up with another double-drabble.

I think that's all... Please, enjoy!

Riku should've known this would happen.

He doesn't dare look at Xion; he merely keeps her dark-clad figure in his peripheral vision as he stares at the window to his right. Avoiding the sight of Xion falling apart doesn't mean he doesn't feel her burning glare, though.

"You're asking me to just forget you ever kissed me?" she finally asks, quiet in her effort to control her voice.

"I'm sorry," he repeats. Now he can't even look at the light from the stars, as Dark and guilty as he feels.

"Fine." Her silhouette moves in the corner of his eye, finally giving him the courage to glance up. Xion's eyes are wide and rimmed with red, one glittering tear meandering down her cheek. "I'll just forget about one of the best things that's ever happened to me."

Riku can see the effort required to spit those words, how each one chokes her, but before he can say or do anything more than blink, Xion twists and storms away, leaving him behind like he has to her too many times.

If he's ever hurt her as bad as this has hurt him, then they never stood a chance to begin with.
