Title: Thoughts from the Other Side

Summary: The similarities between exorcists and the Noah. Tyki's POV. Drabble. One Shot.

Disclaimer: Not mine, won't ever be.

Though you fervently deny it, you and I are quite similar. Not quite two peas in a pod, but perhaps the next best thing. Yes, you are an exorcist, "God's Disciple" and all that nonsense, and I am a Noah, an "immoral" follower of the Earl. Even so, we are alike in many ways. Why do you shake your head? You know that, deep down inside, I am telling the truth. Please don't call me a liar; you gave me no time to explain my statement. Calm down, I won't kill you yet. What good would it do either of us if I killed you before I explained myself? Silly boy. You should know better.

As I was saying before you so rudely interrupted me was that we are similar. Though we differ in both appearance and tactic, we have the same purpose, the same goal: to obliterate our enemy. We both are merely weapons, objects used by our masters for destruction. We are pitted against each other in a battle that has been fought since the beginning of time.

Do you still foolishly insist that we have nothing in common? I will agree; we have our differences. Dark and light, ying and yang, two opposites meant to counter each other. But soon the Millennium Earl will upset this delicate balance. This battle between exorcists and the Noah cannot go on indefinitely. The time draws near—only one of us can prevail—when one will destroy the other in a bloody, all-out battle of last-man-standing. I will not allow you to win. Your kind will never dominate us. You say you are disciples chosen by God to do his bidding. You will not falter with Him on your side.

This is a lie.

You have been led to believe that you are righteous, we are evil, and that God will defend you from us. But where is your God now? Is he here protecting you as you lie on the ground, writhing in pain? No.

But no matter what I say to persuade you, you cling to that lie. Fine. If you wish, defend it with your dying breaths. No words that I speak will change your mind.

That is why I must destroy you.

Goodbye, Allen Walker.

And there it is. Hope you enjoyed. Now please do me a favor and review. I am no stranger to criticism, and in fact, welcome any you might have.
