Strike Out

Three chances. That's all you get. When Tia started to go out with boys they got three strikes then they where gone. Rocket wasn't the exception. She was sitting in Starbucks across from Ahito when he asked her why she dumped Rocket. He was still looking at her. "Boys go out with me and they get three chances," said Tia "You cock up three times that's it," Ahito looked at her and asked "So what did Rocket do?"

Strike 1

Netherball. He abandoned her to play an underground sport. He injured more players than the Shadows (and that's saying something). He was exactly like Sinedd, played in a one man team. Most of all she had never felt so alone. Well she had her team mates around her but she needed him. To be honest she took great delight in ruining him in Netherball.

Strike 2

When he came back. She tried her hardest to make him feel better. He kept brushing her off. Soon she just got tired. She realised something important that she didn't need him. She thought she did but she didn't. If he didn't want her than she'd find someone else. Who would appreciate her.

Strike 3

During the Galactik Football Final, just after Lurr had smacked into her. Suddenly Rocket wanted to know her again. She had just spent the last few weeks finally managing to get over him. That was it now. Strike three he was gone. It was just after the match when he came to see her. He sat beside her and leaned towards her. She pushed him in the chest and shook her head. "Not this time mate,"she had said.

"That was it basically," answered Tia. "Ahito looked at her and said "Yeah well he wasted no time in finding someone else," Ahito said. Remembering seeing Rocket and some girl in the papers. "Yeah," said Tia she looked across at Ahito who looked like he was going to fall asleep. "Tired," said Tia. "One last thing," said Ahito. Tia looked up. "What about me?" Tia looked into Ahito's eyes and said "What are you asking me?" "Do I seem like a good boyfriend to you?"Tia smiled at him and said "You know what I don't think you'd be that bad," Ahito smiled at Tia. Tia blushed and looked down. Ahito wasn't sure what to do now but he knew they'd figure something out together.
