Worried
Disclamer: Don't own One Piece
Summary: An incident from Sanji's POV
SANJI! SANJI! Wake up! Chopper doesn't want you to sleep yet! He says you'll die if you do! Wake up!" Luffy was shouting into my ear.
I coughed water out of my lungs and tried to ask why I was going to die but the words wouldn't come. I felt the ship's deck beneath me. My clothes were wet. Zolo was sitting by the rail, wet too. "Sanji, we need you to sit up." Nami's soft voice rang like bells in my ears. I still couldn't reply, but did my best to obey. Everything went black as immense pain shot through my leg like it had been set aflame.
I looked up to see Nami's beautiful face. "Morning, Sleepyhead. You slept for two days." I was laying on the couch in the boy's cabin on the Merry Go.
"Nami...What happened?" I whispered. My head was pounding.
My angel smiled softly, "Sanji, you don't remember, do you? Luffy fell in the water and you saved him."
I remembered now. Luffy had tried to catch his hat from landing in the water but fell in himself. I took off my jacket and shoes and dove in. I had to be careful since the sea bottom was blanketed with sharp rocks. It didn't take long to find my captain. Luffy was unconscious as usual. I started swimming toward the surface, but my pant leg snagged on a rock. I was good on air but I knew the rubber boy needed to get to the surface fast. I struggled for a few seconds to get my pant leg unhooked. Suddenly, I heard a ripping sound then I had blacked out.
"How'd I get to the surface?"
Nami smiled, "Zolo helped,"
I said, "Nami, can you ask Luffy to come in here please?"
"Sure," Nami went to get Luffy. A few minutes later, Luffy walked in. He looked mad.
I sat up, careful of my injured leg. "Hey Luffy. You ok?"
"I should be asking you that! That was a stupid thing to do!"
"You're one to talk!" I calmed down. "I'm fine. It's ok."
Luffy punched me through a wall, out to the deck. Usopp jumped up in surprise. "Luffy! Sanji shouldn't be up on that leg!" Chopper scolded.
"Why are you two fighting anyway?" Usopp asked.
I sat, unable to stand. "Luffy, what the hell's wrong?!"
"You could'a died!" Instantly, Luffy's face spread into his trade-mark grin. "I was worried 'bout you."
I smiled, "Thanks, Cap'n."
