To this day whenever Percy Weasley -the third oldest Weasley, thought of Severus Snape -Potions master and headmaster of Hogwarts, he thought that Severus was the bravest man he ever knew. This man had the guts to work with Voldemort as a spy for Dumbledore. Percy hadn't been there when Snape had told Harry with his last dying breath to take his memories. He didn't know how emotional the moment had been. If the red head had a chance to talk to Severus he would tell him he thought he was very brave.
Percy thought that the Sorting Hat sorts people too soon. Severus may have been a slimy Slytherin back then but now he was a very brave Gryffindor. If only the Sorting Hat had looked past the thoughts about Dark Arts and into his heart. If Severus was alive now and the Sorting Hat had a chance to be placed upon the greasy head, the red head was sure the hate would boom, "GRYFFINDOR!"
Now that he knew the Potions master was gone he wished he would have told him how much the red head had admired him, maybe even loved him. Percy came home to see that Harry and Ginny was visiting. The third oldest red head took Albus Severus on his lap and said, "Albus Severus, you were named for two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin. And he was, probably, the bravest man I knew."
Albus Severus smiled and laughed, "Slytherin's aren't brave like us Gryffindor's!"
"Sometimes the Sorting Hat sorts too soon." interjected Harry, smiling at Percy. Percy nodded and looked back down at Albus Severus who looked like he ate something sour.
"Long ago I had a teacher, a sallow-skinned Slytherin with long black hair. I hated him and he seemed to hate me too. And though I branded him a coward he was, in fact, the bravest man I ever knew." added Harry. Ginny patted her husband on the shoulder and smiled.
Living in disguise
A true wizard on the inside
Not afraid of what he had to do
He was the bravest man I ever knew
