This is my first Get Backers fic, please don't sue me, and it would be nice if you'd give me advice. Structural critisism will be allowed no matter how harsh, if it will be usefull, the more I will allow it! I don't care if you're going to be a Simon-Cowell-wannabe, it's okie-dokie wine mith fee!
And another thing! They're gonna be a bit OOC here, I'm sorry if it'll seem that way to you as well...
This is a bit short, though I still hope you enjoy it either way!

The sky was covered by an ebony blanket that night, silver studded with glittery stars hanging above. The moon emmited a warm glow, gently smiling at the gazers below.
Ginji looked up with a dazed look on his face. He looked at every last detail of the sky, seemingly. He kept staring up, not realizing he's been doing that for about an hour, until...
"Oi, Ginji, what's wrong with you? You've been like that all day."
Ginji gave out a stifled, embarassed laugh not fooling Ban. "Me? Betsuni! Nothing's wrong, why?"
"It sure doesn't seem like that." Ban replied while idly lighting a cigarette.
Ginji went back to staring at the sky, completely ignoring what the fellow Get Backer said.
"But, I've been thinking..."
Upon hearing this, Ban raised an eyebrow and looked at his, now looking slightly worried, partner. "About what?"
"What master said a few months ago." He replied.
"It's about..." his voice vanished as his mind went blank, cutting off what he was about to say.
"You were saying?"
"About that day coming. When we--"
"I know. It will, one day."
Ginji, who now looked surprised, sat down on the asphalt and and drummed his fingers on his lap.
"You don't think that one day, the Get Backers are gonna be gone for good, right?" Ginji said, his voice reaching a higher pitch.
"Well, one day, but for now, you're stuck with me. Got that?"
"It's too soon to be thinking about that, baka." He continued.
"Hai!" Ginji said, a smile climbing back on his face. He stood up and gazed at the stars again, this time, with a more cheerful expression.
He looked brighter as he saw a star falling aboth from beyond the horizon. He smiled as he looked at it, and made a small wish.
'I wish we'd be together forever.'

You know how I came up the the idea of writing this fic? No, I did not get this idea from another fic. I'm really not that big on ideas for pairings. Though pretty soon, expect a [DUM,DUM,DUM!]BanXHimiko fic and a [THUNDER CLASHES] ShidoXMadoka fic. Bye bye for now!
