I don't know what I'm doing. ; - ;
She wasn't exactly sure when she'd decided she liked someone. She didn't really know she'd end up liking someone in this first place, really. All the tabby knew was when she saw that girl dancing under the moonlight, she fell in love. She looked like a goddess, a goddess made of pearls. She was like the moon personified (even if Jemima looks at it so longingly), pure, untouchable.
Only, Etcetera could touch Victoria as much as she wanted. It was weird, and it was new. They were both so young, didn't understand that it wasn't normal for two queens—kittens, even—to like each other in such a way. They knew it made their friends uncomfortable, the way they sat so close and tangled their fingers, or the way their cheeks grew pink when they made eye contact. Or the way Plato and Tumblebrutus looked at them with such confusion when the group interacted.
Victoria was very much the dominant. Mostly because Etcetera could hardly form a sentence when she was with her. Even though, if Victoria wasn't older, she'd probably be the same way. It felt odd to think about, but the white queen felt as if Etcetera was her perfect match—she was like a firecracker, honest and admittedly pretty noisy. Victoria was calm, understanding. (Most of the time.)
"Vicki," Etcetera started, head resting on Victoria's lap, "tell me you love me."
"You say it first." Said Victoria playfully, looking up towards the cloud-splattered sky. It was a perfect day—quiet, warm, decorated with a light breeze.
"I love me." Etcetera said plain as day, playing with Victoria's hand—bending her fingers, making her but up a piece sign, lacing their fingers together and comparing their paws.
"I know you do," Victoria giggled. (It was so clichéd, but Victoria's laugh sounded like bells to Etcetera.) "I love you." She whispered, planting a butterfly kiss on Etcetera's fingers. The tabby giggled, smiling like a newborn.
"I love you too, Vicki."
(And neither would have it any other way.)
Yay for innocent femslash.
I have no explanation…
