A/N: This couple...Omg, this couple...I love this couple to death. I know this is pure crack, but it's the good kind of crack that won't leave you cold and confused the morning after.

The Prom

"Hey, Xander!"

Xander turned his head and swore to himself when he saw who was calling his name and was currently walking up to him-Larry. Great. Just what he needed. He was glad the big guy had stopped pushing him into trashcans and beating up on him, but he felt nervous because Larry thought Xander was gay.

"What's up, man? You got a date for the prom?"

Xander looked up and down the halls nervously. Was Larry asking him out on a date? To the prom?

"Ah, gee, Larry. Me and Anya are goin' together."

Xander hoped that Larry wasn't too upset because of being shot down. He liked the guy more now, sure, but he knew he'd still beat him up if he did something that the football player thought deserved punishment.

"Anya, huh?" Larry decided not to try to get Xander to come out of the closet. If he wasn't ready, he wasn't ready. "She's a weird one. Have fun, man." Larry smiled and clapped Xander on the back before turning to leave.

"Hey Larry?" Xander was hesitant. Did he really want to know this? Probably not. His brain kept telling his mind to shut up, but it wouldn't listen. "Do you have a date?" Xander wasn't considering going with Larry. No, he wasn't gay even IF the jock thought he was. He was just curious.

"Me? Oh, yeah. I'm going with a guy a few years younger than us. He's kind of...odd...but he's cute."

Xander watched as Larry walked off, wondering who this younger guy was.

"So why are you really doing this?"

Warren was irritated. He had been trying to get Tucker to answer him for the last ten minutes, but the dark haired boy wouldn't. Tucker was going to have his stupid demons attack the prom-the prom that Warren was very much going to. Warren was friends with Tucker, but he didn't want his demon dogs to tear him to shreds!

"I told you, she-"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Warren waved his hand around, trying to get Tucker to get past that. He had been saying the same thing over and over again now. "You got shot down. What else is new?" Warren didn't pause at the nasty look Tucker was giving him. "What's the real reason you're making these things attack the prom?"

Tucker rolled his eyes, sighed, and paused before he finally answered.

"Andy's going to the prom with some football playing jock. You know the one. Larry something."

Warren was a genius, but he really didn't see where this was going.

"..So?"

Tucker sighed again, more irritated than he was to begin with. Warren was his friend, but sometimes he needed to mind his own business.

"You know he'll try to make a move on my brother."

That made Warren stop and think. Tucker never acted like he liked or even cared about Andrew. The older boy always picked on his brother and made life difficult for him. Did he really, deep down care about Andrew's well-being? Unless...

"Jonathan paid you to not let it happen, didn't he? I KNEW he had a thing for Andrew!"

"...No."

"...You and Jonathan are betting whether or not your brother gives it up for this jock, huh?"

"...Yep. Want in?"

"Yeah. I'll bet twenty bucks that he does."

"You're on."

A/N: A little iffy, but it could be another reason Tucker tried to crash the prom.
