Death on the Battlefield

Tom Riddle walked the battlefield. Scattered around are dead bodies everywhere. But none were the one he was looking for. Moans were the music that played in the backround. He searched their faces, until he found his red haired beauty. He ran to her side. Blood was covering her, if it was her own or another's, he could not tell.

"Tom," she croaked, blood pouring out.

"Ginny."

"If only we had had more time…"

"If only…"

They took you away from me but now I'm taking you home

"Don't give up Ginny. Medi-witchs will be here soon," he pleads with her.

"You know they can't fix this Tom."

"We don't know that! Maybe they can…"

Her blood-crusted hand cupped his cheek.

"Don't have false hope love. You knew it would end like this."

"No! No Ginny… Don't let go."

But she was always one to defy him. Even in death, this was no different. As her soul slipped away, so did Tom's mind. That's how they found him, muttering words that had no meaning. He clutched Ginny's body to him and would not let go. They had to take her carcass with them to St. Mungo's. Next to them was a stillborn baby girl. She was identified as Tom and Ginny Riddle's daughter.

They restrained him, won't let him move. He cries for his red haired beauty. He says she sings to him. He says his daughter was born before his eyes and was alive- is still alive. They think it is the talking of a madman.

He is allowed to her grave every Sunday. He always lies to roses there. One red and one black.

Ralph, the caretaker, went to his cell to bring him food. He enters the room and see's a hangman. Tom Riddle had taken his own life. They found a note, explaining why. It wasn't very clear.

I cannot live without my love, so I will not do so. She spoke to me and told me it was time for me to be with her. I was happy to comply. Please note that my love never died for my red haired beauty. I can now go live with my wife- and my daughter.

They buried him next to Ginny Weasely. Tom, Ginny and the little baby girl, Annie Eliza, all died on December 5, but one year apart. They say that on December 5, you can hear singing, from a mother and father, to their baby girl.
