"Treasure Chest"

Spirits entwined with strife all around
Memories lost mixed with memories found
`
As saviors they came
All the time spent
Apart from each other
Goodness twisted and bent
`
Just as the darkness grows from within
From inside the light, doth come the sin
`
They swore to each other
Through a boyish pride
We'll be together
I'll stay by your side
`
But the evil reared forth, these souls ripped in twain
Thought they'd never see the other again
`
Long was the battle
'Twas difficult indeed
But friendship soldiers on;
Though the flesh will bleed
`
Others would come between our two
No prizes for this one, I'll let you guess who
`
Through temptations and enemies
Each would survive
Looking for signs
That theirs was alive
`
Till at last all the monsters and bosses who
Threatened our heroes were finished and through
`
They met on a plain of awful destruction
Caught in the place where the darkness does stir
An utterance pleaded;
"Take care of her"
