(Lorelai is pacing back and forth in the bathroom)
"OH come on come on! HURRY UP!" She yells as she glances down at her watch. "This is taking forever!" say says as she looks in the mirror at herself trying to put her hair up.
As she starts to walk out of the bathroom she hears a DING. "ok ok ok" She says over and over again while she walks over to the counter. As she looks down she is holding her breath. She closes her eyes as she reaches down to grab it. She brings it up to her face just enough so she knows once she opens her eyes it will be right there.
"ok...open" She says quitely but scared at the same time. She slowly opens her eyes and sees it! Her month drops and her hands start to shake.
"What am I going to do now?" she says as she lays it on the counter. As she walks out of the bath room the phone rings. She runs to the phone. RING RING RING
Hello" She says not sure who is on the other end.
"Hey mom! What are you doing?" Rory says in her cheerful way.
"Oh nothing really" She says not knowing if she should tell her right away or not. "do you think I can call you back? I am in the middle of something right now" She cuts her off before she could say anything.
"Oh okay. Well call me back when you get a chance" Rory says with her
what in the world voice.
"Okay love you bye!" Lorelai says in her super fast high pitch voice as she hangs up the phone.
(Lorelai starts to walk upstairs but stops half way up. She looks back at the phone and then looks back. She shakes her head and sighs. She walks down the stairs and over to the )phone.)
Lorelai picks up the phone and starts to dial. Then she hangs up the phone before it had time to make the phone call. "Oh come on Lorelai it will be fine!" she says in an irritated way. She picks up the phone and dials a filmilure number. She can here the other line ringing. RING RING. It felt like forever. "ok maybe he won't answer" She says hoping she might get away with talking to him.
"Luke's" He says in his oh so luke like way.
"uh.." Lorelai not knowing what to say. "Um.." she says rethinking the whole idea.
"Who is this" Luke says while sighing and rolling his eyes.
"Um this is Lorelai" She says quitely.
"Oh..." He says just as quite. "How are you?" He says.
"Good...hey I need to talk to you" She says in an innocent voice. "Can you come over?".
Luke was still in stock that she called, added onto it she wanted him to come over. "um...yeah..uh sure...uh sure...I'll be over as soon as I can" Luke says as he tries to gather himself. He doesn't know if he should be happy or worried.
"Okay see you in a little" she says as she hangs up the phone.
"okay" he says right after he heard the phone click.
(Lorelai steps back from the phone. Takes a deep breath and starts to walk upstairs)
"Now all I have to do is tell him I'm pregnant!" she says in her sacastic voice as she makes her way upstairs.
