Danny/Sam: Let's Go For a Ride
Disclaimer: I do not own DP :( Sad, but true. Characters are owned by Mr Hartman and Nickelodon
Danny hadn't seen or heard from Sam for days. Her parents still had her grounded. At least there was no restraining order this time. After a quick call to Tucker he decided enough was enough. He went ghost and flew to the Manson's household. He tapped on her window but there was no answer.
After floating outside her window for a few minutes, feeling like a complete idiot, he phased through the window. Her room was empty, the candles weren't lit like usual, and some of her posters had been taken down. He frowned and examined the prissy vanity table that looked completely out of place in the dark, comfortable room. There was an enormous make up tray set out, with bright pinks and blues being the main colours. Danny squirmed, what had happened to her? He floated silently through the rooms of the sprawling mansion, until he came into the library. In one of the chairs, with her back to him, was Sam. He landed on the ground and walked over to her.
"Danny? Oh thank goodness you've arrived. My parents have been putting me through such madness." She got up to hug him, and he started slightly at the long, pink flowered dress she wore. She wrapped her arms around him, breathing in his fresh air scent. After a while he drew back, kissing her forehead. She looked down at herself, then at the book on the large table, the one with the cover that read, 'Learning to Become a Lady', and curled her lip in disgust. "I'll say." Murmured Danny, shaking his head. He walked over to the table and shut the book. She turned towards him, an impish grin on her face "feeling rebellious?" he smiled and nodded slowly "shall we assess the escape routes?" he suggested, picking her up bridal style and phasing them both through the rooms until they landed in her bedroom. She walked to her closet and tried to find a less colourful item of clothing to wear, but with no luck. She cursed "Where are my clothes?" She even tipped out her jewellery box to see if there was any of her own jewellery in there. The only thing she was allowed to wear was Danny's class ring, and if her parents knew he had given it to her, she definitely wouldn't be allowed to wear it. "It's hopeless." She sighed; she couldn't be bothered to be annoyed anymore.
A flash caught Danny's eye and he picked up a pair of scissors from Sam's bedside table. He handed them to her with a smile. Without hesitating, she made a cut in the bottom of the skirt and started to rip it. "Let me help you with that." Danny moved forward and knelt in front of her. He ripped the dress to her normal length, and threw the fabric to the floor. She grinned and sat on the floor next to him. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her softly, barely hesitating when there came a call of "Sam, sweetie, we're home!" from downstairs. Sam felt the tingling sensation when he turned invisible and swept her up into his nonexistent arms. "Let's go for a ride."
