Chapter One

Secrets

(Narcissa's POV)

It was a dark night inside the Manor as Lucius and his pregnant wife Narcissa awaited the His arrival. They sat as still as statues as they waited, praying their plan would work. The grandfather clock told them it was midnight. Why wasn't He there yet? Suddenly, as though emerging from the shadows themselves, Lord Voldemort appeared.

"My Lord." Lucius and Narcissa said, bowing their heads to their master. Narcissa placed her hand on her stomach, feeling a little nudge behind her hand she smiled, she'd always wanted to be a mother. Narcissa and Lucuis looked up at the Dark Lord, wondering why he'd come at this late hour.

"Lucius, Narcissa, I heard, and can see, that you shall be having a child soon. What will it be?" He asked, his scarlet eyes piercing Narcissa's. She looked down at her stomach again before speaking.

"I will be having a son, my Lord! His name will be Draco." She told him without making eye contact, she feared his red eyes might see into her very soul. Voldemort smirked.

"Draco, meaning Dragon, very nice. In time he will become a Death Eater! He will follow me just as loyally as you do! Is that understood?" He asked, this time his gaze pierced Lucius' eyes.

"Perfectly, my Lord! He shall be yours!" Lucius promised and the Dark Lord turned his back on them.

"Very well. I shall be taking my leave then." He said before disappearing into the darkness. Narcissa's terrified eyes turned to her husband.

"Do you think he suspects us?" She asked of him, both her hands cradling the bump. "I fear he may know our secret!" She muttered, shaking her head.

(Lucius' POV)

"Relax my dear! He would've said something if he had known! Now you need rest, let us go into our bedroom so you may-" He started to insist but was cut off by his wife's screams, she was going into labor! Lucuis called for the House-elves to help him as he brought his wife to their bed. He sat there, holding his wife's hand, and watched as the House-elves began to work. He worried about his wife who was in so much pain. He whispered soothing things to her as she began to scream louder, wiped a cold cloth oh her face as she began to sweat. He hoped she was alright.

After a few hours Lusicus was holding his son, while his wife held their daughter. "What shall we name her my dear?" Lucius asked his wife, looking at his beautiful daughter. He hadn't been sure about keeping her a secret at the beginning but was glad he had now. He glanced at his wife's tired face and smiled.

"We shall call her Darcy." Narcissa said quietly. A House-elf came to take Darcy from Narcissa's tired arms but Lucius grabbed her first.

"I've got her." He told it and kissed his wife's forehead. "Sweet dreams, my love." He whispered and exsited the room, Draco and Darcy's eyes alert and happy,
