Aria is driving in her car and stops at the mailbox outside of her house. She opens the mailbox. She sees right away there is one letter in it. The letter is from A. She opens the letter and reads it in shock, then hurries off to school.
Spencers reading it so she runs inside stuffs it in her backpack and leaves with Toby.
Emily is sitting in her room brushing her hair when she sees a letter on her desk. The return address is just the letter A. She knows right away it cans from A. Hugs and Kisses, Love A.We haven Emily said. The girls all agreed that evening they had to go and help Ali. They knew A might have her because A had figured out Ali was alive too. Then they had to split up and go to class.
That night they met up at Hannas house and her mother was not home. It took about an hour and a half to get there. They pulled up to the old mansion. There were no cars out front which was expected. It was very dark, completely black outside but inside all the lights were on. The girls slowly got out of the car and started to walk towards the front door.
Hanna asks.
Spencer tells her.
The girls make it up to the front door. They see AliHello?Help me,Ali?s voice. Spencer pulls out her key and opens the door. All the lights suddenly turn off and then back on over and over again, blinking. The screaming continues and they realize its coming from upstairs. They run upstairs but the screaming is coming from two different rooms at separate sides of the hallway. They split up. Hanna and Spencer enter a bedroom, attached to the bedroom is a bathroom; the screaming is coming from the bathroom They pound on the door.
Hanna screams. Suddenly the door to the bedroom closes and they hear the sound of it locking. They run to the bedroom door.
Spencer yells. They get no answer and the screaming in the bathroom stops. Spencer continues to bang on the door.
In the other room there is a nice desk and couch and tv Emily and Aria can hear the screaming very loud and clear it is coming from above them. They find steps that must lead to the attic. They run up the steps but there is a door at the top. Emily opens the door and the screaming stops and they slowly walk insideHelp!s room everything goes black for a moment and they cannot see anything then the lights turn back on. Spencer tries to open the door and it opens up. They try to open the bathroom door and it opens too. They see a recorder, Spencer hits the play button and AliA tricked us,Aria?Help! We Aria yells. The two walk up to the attic and open the door.
Aria explained. Spencer walked into the attic and looked around for another recorder, which was sitting in the corner. She plays the recording which is Ali screaming again. The girls decide they should probably leave now before A gets them into more trouble. They head down the stairs and out the door with the lights still blinking on and off. They exit the house and Spencer locks the door on their way out. They get into the car and drive back to Hannas bedroom and Spencer sets Ali
