I walked slowly into the beachside villa. The ocean lapped soothingly as a bright orange sun met the cool navy and violet waters. I stepped inside, lightly on the mat, taking off my shoes and allowing myself to stretch, feel my back and abdomen curve out. No sooner had I sighed and begun to release the tension in my muscles that there were a pair of warm hands holding my waist. Needy, yet delicate. I turned myself, breathing in the smell of light cologne and sea salt as I pressed myself hard into his chest. I closed my eyes and breathed him in as his heartbeat beat rhythmically into my right ear. My hands began to act on their own, as routine, and pressed his body deep against my own, to where both he and I were turned. His worn hand moved from my waist to my hair and combed his fingers through it, slowly, but just so to where he still gave me shivers whenever he did it. He sensed it and I looked up to see his lips curve into a coy smile as he slunk his arm down and began to weave through my top and rested his hand on my upper stomach, and below my chest. I sighed and returned the favor as I took charge and stood taller, leaning in, and kissed him hard, cradling his face in my hands. After a moment, he pulled back as I breathed.

"I love you," he said smiling, the corners of his eyes crinkling as I stared back at him deeply. I placed a finger on his mouth, silencing him from a sarcastic joke that was surely soon to follow.

"I love you too," I replied with a little eyeroll, and before I knew it, he was kissing me hard. He held me close and kept going, and his warmth sent my mind flying. In a mere moment, we were on the bed, me curled in his now bare chest while we both stared out the window at the seaside. Somewhere seagulls called each other and sea sawed in the air. He pulled me closer as a light breeze made me shiver a little, and nibbled my ear playfully as I couldn't help but give a chuckle. "You are such a tease," I said while sighing.

"And you are such a know it all," he replied, and we both laughed. He burrowed his head into my golden hair and kissed me gently. "I like the new shampoo by the way."

"Smartass," I grumbled with a smile.

"I thought that was you?"

"Hey," I said a little sternly, "watch it."

"Can't I just watch you instead?" At that I turned and gazed into his indigo eyes, a smile playing on my lips.

"Always," I replied and kissed me again as the seagulls cried and flew freely in the sky, the scent of ocean, and of him, milling with the sea salt in the air as we eventually curled up together and fell asleep.
