I laid on the forest floor with my hands covered the gash on his stomach, warm, blood leaked onto my hands and I rolled over in pain, leaves stuck to my ripped shirt.I felt a hand on my back as someone rolled me over.
I couldn't make out their face my vision was blurred and they lifted me from the ground and supported me. Stay awake. I tried pushing away from the person but they held me firm, "Careful love I'm just trying to help you." I tried again "Stop squirming"
Then something hard collided with my head and I fought to stay awake but then nothing.
When I came through there was a cold cloth on my forehead and I moved my hand to feel my wound but it was covered in bandages. A hand snapped forward and grabbed my wrist. I pulled my arm away ready to attack.
My arm froze mid air and my muscels siezed.
A women, if you could be called that, short with pale olive skin and spikey, short dark brown hair. Dark blue eyes wide with terror I watched you fall backwards and clutched you small belly protectivly.
"Who are you," my words were sharp and you recoiled further but regained your composure and walked towards me again within arms length.
Standing your full height you didn't seem so short but not the least bit threatening, "My name is Eira and considering you might have died out there I thought you'd be a little more grateful."
I grunted at you and looked at your stomach which made you growl. I remember your growl. It was low and menacing almost primal.
"Your name means Snow" It was an off han comment and you looked perplexed.
Then smiled warmly, "I know, No one has ever told me that though."
I rolled my eyes and wanted nothing more to do with you.
"You're Loki." Your words surprised me and my brow furrowed, "You have been onthe news causing all sorts of trouble.I thought you were taken back to were you came from?"
I looked away. I didn't want to be reminded of such a defeat or talked about like I was a filthy thing people wanted to get rid of.
"Well it may take a while for that," You gestured to the wound, "To heal. You're welcome here for as long as you need."
"Why?"
"Because even evil needs conpassion."
