"Wynnie! Come over here. Look at Mama. Come on.", Rey patted the soft grass in front of her as she called to the small girl. She rushed toward her mom, grabbing her arm as she reached her. "Momma, where's Daddy?" "Well…" Rey looked to the sky. "He's saving the galaxy, Wyn.", Rey said, smiling at her little daughter. "Wow.", the girl looked up, craning her neck before falling over backward. "Oh, dear. Come along, I'll make a cake for dinner tonight.", Rey grabbed her daughter's hand, pulling her up and walking back to the small house. Wynnie stopped for a second next to the old laurel oak. Looking up at the blue sky, she whispered, "Mama's making cake for dessert. You don't wanna miss that, do you, Papa?" Then, she ran inside.

"Red leader, pull up on the flank. If we wanna do this right, we wanna stay free of the head cannons. Got it?" "Yes, Commander.", Red Leader relayed through the VO comm. Poe pulled through the trench, pulling off his helmet. Silently, his X-Wing landed in an old, unused docking bay. "Shit, shit, shit.", he muttered, wheeling around a corner in his itchy Stormtrooper suit. "Cell block 18, Cell M-471.", Poe said, counting down the cell numbers. "468, 469, 470, 471." He ran toward the bars. "What do you want?", the familiar face looked up to the trooper in front of him. Poe pulled off the sweaty helmet. "Dad?!" "Marc!" The young man stood up. "What the hell are you doing here?" "Bailing you out. Come on. And your mom doesn't know about this little stunt, so stay on my good side and she'll stay in the dark about this.", his dad moved to the joint control panel. "You know how to use those?" "Yes, son, I know a thing or two about stuff. You, on the other hand, are a dumb 15 year old who has no idea about anything. So the next time you try to take down a Dreadnought all by yourself, think again, pal." The bars swung open. "Alright, let's blow this popsicle stand."
