Harry and Ginny had been dating for six months. They were hanging out in the garden at the burrow watching the Fred and George play tricks on the gnomes. They had narrowly escaped getting bitten multiple times. It was one of the rare times that Fred and George weren't at their shop in Diagon Alley. Business was great for the twins. They even teamed up with Lee and Katie to open another smaller shop in Hogsmeade. The twins lived with Angelina and Alicia above their shop in Diagon Alley and Lee and Katie lived above the one in Hogsmeade. This made Harry immensely happy that he gave them the Triwizard winnings.

Ron walked outside to the garden. Without paying attention he walked in front of gnome that was trying to bite Fred and got bit instead. Harry, Ginny, Fred, and George of course found this hilarious. Ron, not so much. He stormed inside while cradling his bitten hand. Hermione had been watching from the window when it happened. It took a lot of effort for her to not laugh at Ron when he came back inside. Once Fred and George managed to stop laughing they went inside to make themselves sandwiches for lunch. Harry and Ginny found a bench and decided to sit together for a while.

They talked about the expression on Ron's face when he got bitten and then tried to see who could do the better impression of it. Ginny did a far better impression which made them both laugh again. The laughing somehow led to kissing and they sat there doing that for a few minutes until Harry pulled away.

"Ginny, I have something to tell you." Ginny, not knowing what to expect put on her poker face. " I just, I can't stand not telling you. I- I have this huge crush on you. I've-"

"- Harry we've-"

" had it for the past two and a half years-"

"Harry we've literally been dating for the past six months not even including the time we dated before you know what." She said relieved. She was worried he was gonna say something like he did at the end of her fifth year.

" I know." said Harry giddily.

"Dork"

"Did you just call me a spork?" asked Harry not quite hearing her.

" No, I called you a cork" she mumbled the last word to confuse him. It worked. He had this deep look of contemplation on his face. She leaned forward and kissed him while he was still trying to figure it out. he pulled back after a moment with a look of realization on his face.
"I get it now" he said, blushing at how long it took him. She leaned forward and kissed him again. Ginny knew one thing for sure. Harry was no Ravenclaw.

"Dork" she murmured against his lips.
