WARNING! DEPRESSING THEMES!

He was too late.

So much red magic was pouring out of her, and he couldn't stop it. He was DETERMINED though, and he picked her up and raced back to snowdin.

He knew in the back of his mind that she wouldn't make it, but he had to try! "Pa…py…" she called out with a groan."I'M HERE! I'M HERE HUMAN! WHAT IS IT?"He continued walking at a fast pace with a worried expression on his face. "It's okay." He stopped and stared at your face, which surpassingly, being so bloody and bruised and beaten and near death, you looked so...peaceful.

All of a sudden, a sudden snow storm kicked up, and Papyrus couldn't hear her anymore. He could barely see three feet ahead of him. He could tell she was talking, but he didn't want to listen. He didn't want to accept her fate. Tears started to form and drip down his skull. "I….wipe away…tears…but…pain…" she whispered with a pained smile.

He knew her time was upon them. Her voice was barely a whisper, and her body had grown cold. Papyrus started to cry, but his cries were lost in the snow storm.

She reached her hand up towards Papyrus, wanting him to take it. He recognized the action from his sweet memories with her, and with a sad smile, took her hand into his. "Yes, human? What is it?" his voice as barely audible now, trying not to crack.

She placed her hand over his armor body, where a human heart would be. "You…are a monster…but you…have a…human…heart…" She smiled for the last time, and closed her eyes. He usually was too much of a cinnamon bun to understand such metaphors, but this one he understood right away.

Wiping his tears away, he picked up his love's body and continued towards Snowdin. At the edge of town, he saw his brother, out of breath and with a shaky expression. Sans smiled seeing his brother was safe and sound, but his eyes lowered to what Papyrus was carrying.

Sans fell to the ground, a sobbing wreck. Papyrus could only frown, as his tear ducts had dried up. He simply stood there, watching his brother sob, holding the love of his life, covered in her blood.
