Disclaimer:I do not own The Total Drama Series

This is my first songfic so, go easy on me

Song- Waiting For The End by Linkin Park

Characters- Cody, Noah, Duncan, Gwen, Bridgette, and Heather

Plot- A terrible virus has struck the Earth and these are the only survivors

Place- On the Total Drama HQ rooftop.

Time- 5 years into the future

Also- Story is in slow-mo except for the song

The five sat there staring at one another as Bridgette's body slowly fell to the ground.

This is not the end, this is not the beginning
Just a voice like a riot rocking every revision

Duncan then scratched the back of his head

But you listen to the tone and the violent rhythm
Though the words sound steady something empty's within them

Gwen hung her head down and started crying

We say yeah with fists flying up in the air
Like we're
holding onto something that's invisble there
Cause we're living at the mercy of the pain and the fear
Until we dead it, forget it, and let it all disappear

Noah put down his book and started to pray

Waiting for the end to come
Wishing I had strength to stand

Cody dropped his head in defeat

This is not what I had planned
It's out of my control
Flying at the speed of light
Thoughts were spinning in my head

Bridgette's corpse lay next to Heather, who stared at it

So many things were left unsaid
It's hard to let you go

Gwen wiped her tear streakin face.

I know what it takes to move on
I know how it feels to lie

Noah broke down as Cody rubbed his back

All I want to do
Is trade this life for something new
Holding on to what I haven't got

Duncan tried to stand but fell down just as fast

Sitting in an empty room
Trying to forget the past
This was never meant to last
I wish it wasn't so

Cody started scratching his arm

I know what it takes to move on
I know what it takes to lie
All I want to do
Is trade this life for something new
Holding on to what I haven't got

Heather fell backwards, dead

What was left when the fire was gone
I thought it felt right but that right was wrong
All caught up in the eye of the storm

Noah threw his book off the building and started to tear at his hair

I tried to figure out what it was like moving on
And I don't even know what kind of things I said
My mouth kept moving but my mind went dead
So I'm picking up the pieces, now where to begin
The hardest part of the ending is starting again

Cody fell forward, face against the concrete

'Til the end
All I want to do is trade this life for something new
Holding on to what I haven't got

Noah stood up on the edge of the roof and leaned over and jumped.

I'm holding on to what I haven't got
This is not the end, this is not the beginning
Just a voice like a riot rocking every revision
But you listen to the tone and the violent rhythm
We say yeah with fists flying up in the air
Like we're holding onto something that's invisible there
I'm holding on to what I haven't
Though the words sound steady something empty's in there
Cause we're living at the mercy at the pain and the fear
Until we dead it, forget it, and let it all disappear

(Slow mo stops)

Gwen and Duncan stand up while their friend's spirits appear next to them as the jump off the building.
