Disclaimer: Don't own Walking Dead

AN: Probably my shortest thing I ever wrote but it got into my head after watching episode 3x13 on Sunday. I won't lie. Seeing Beth fire that gun in the air was in weird ways, hot as hell and I figured; how would Carl have reacted after seeing that?

Enjoy

Hot

Carl watched with a wide-eyed look on his face as he watched Beth shoot her gun into the air to break up the fight between Glenn and Merle. She didn't speak but the look on her face told enough: They better stop now before she really did get angry and do something else to them other than fire a warning shot.

"Beth…" Carl got her attention when she walked back into the cell block. "What you just did there… that was…"

Beth thought she might've gone a little too far with her warning to Glenn and Merle, but the last thing that they needed right now was the two of them fighting when Rick, Daryl, and her dad were trying to talk to The Governor to avoid the bloodbath that was to come.

"Hot as hell." Carl finished with a grin on his face, not sure how he found the confidence to tell her that to her face. Maybe it had to do to the fact that Carl can see his death coming and didn't see the need to try and hide his true feelings.

Beth blushed bright red at Carl's compliment. "Really? I only shot a gun in the air."

"But the way you did it was really hot in a weird and end-of-world kind of way." Carl laughed a little, "Sorry. I really can't explain it."

Beth did her best to smile at him through all of the pride she was feeling at Carl complimenting her. "It's okay. I think I understand what you meant. I kinda feel that way about you, too…"

"Really…?" Carl asked curiously. "What do I do that you think is… hot…?"

"You know the way you sometimes stutter when you get nervous?" Carl didn't like that that happened to him when something became too much for him to handle and he didn't know what to say. Beth blushed again, "Well… that is kinda hot in its own way, too."

"Really?" Beth nodded at him. "I guess we're both really weird."

"The end of the world does that to you…" she trailed off with what she was gonna say next. "We might die soon. Against this Governor." Carl nodded slowly, kinda scared of the upcoming fight. "Well… I don't wanna die with regrets."

"What regrets would you hav-"

"I love you…" Carl stopped talking. "I love you Carl and I can't die without me telling you that."

"Beth… I…" Carl gathered up all the courage he had to spit it out. "I love you too."

Beth was shocked. "Really?" Carl nodded. "I can't believe this…"

"Can't believe what?"

"That we're gonna die without having the chance to really try and date each other."

"We won't die."

"He killed Axel without us being able to do anything. He can easily roll up here and kill every last one of us in our sleep."

"I'll kill him before I let him touch you."

Beth embraced him and planted a kiss to the top of his head. "I love you."

"I love you too."

End of Hot

Yeah… hope ya'll liked it.

Can't wait for Sunday

I have to continue Fragment already, I know. Everyone keeps asking me and I am happy to say that now that I have a lot of it planned, I'll continue next week… hopefully. Either next week or the week after.

So look out for chapter 4 of Fragment soon.
