Clan Leader Meets Kittypet
News in from yesterday! Bluestar, our beloved leader of Thunderclan, has met with a kittypet named Rusty at the edge of Twolegplace.
There have been sightings and scents of this tom near the border of Twolegplace and the forest before. But never has he been caught until Graypaw found this flame colored cat trying to hunt a mouse! How dare he try to steal our pray! This may still be Greenleaf, but he has his kittypet food, while we NEED our freshkill. The mouse was our food and as I heard Graypaw engage the tom in a fight to stop the pray stealing.
Graypaw claims that this untrained cat was strong but no match for a warrior of Thunderclan. Graypaw might have tried to injure the cat more if Bluestar had not decided to stick her nose in the fight.
But, Bluestar saw the fight between Graypaw and Rusty before it was stopped. She was, and still is, convinced that this cat has the skill to become a warrior. So what does she do? She asked him if he would think about becoming a member of thunderclan.
This would be an outrage! A kittypet becoming a warrior of a clan? He would never make it. He would never become anything but a weak cat that depends upon others. We can't afford another mouth to feed if he won't fight for himself. As Longtail said, " Once a kittypet, always a kittypet." Bluestar must have lost her mind if she thinks this kittypet will make a warrior. Only a pure clanborn cat will make a warrior. Never will a kittypet survive out here in the forest. You have to be able to stand strong.
