Aoko had a feeling tonight is not going to be a good night. She had the same feeling the day her mother died… and also the day her father was shot. But she had never expected a familiar white figure would be standing right at her bedroom window. His suit was stained in a dark red mark around the area where his heart should be. His face was so pale that he would match the moon in his all white appearance.
"Kai-Kaitou Kid! What are you doing here?"
"Don't be scared Nakamori-san… I won't hurt you.." he said weakly.
"What happen to you?" she asked "What's that at your suit?" she can see it all. The emotions hidden under his poker face, his mask. She can see anger, disappointment, hurt, scared and also sadness. What is he scared of? Isn't he the phantom thief.
"Oh you notice? May I ask a question Nakamori-san?" he replied.
"If that will make you answer my question then go on…" she said.
"Do you believe in ghost Nakamori-san?" he then asked.
"Wha-" her cell phone rang before she could answer that question.
"Hallo?" she said
"Aoko? This is me."
"Dad? Why are you calling?"
"We caught Kaitou Kid..But…"
"Huh? I don't understand.."
"He is Kaito-kun… Aoko?... And he was shot in the heist… and died.."
"But dad, that's not possible! You are joking right?"
"I'm sorry Aoko, but I'm certainly not kidding or joking…"
"But that's not possible dad! Kaitou Kid is here! Right in my be-" Aoko could not finished her sentence. Kaitou Kid was gone with no trace. Only a single black rose and a red letter were left on the open window.
Aoko put away her phone and she took the black rose with her right hand and put it on her table. Then she opened the red letter…. A photo fell down.. It's their picture, her picture with Kaito in their childhood. Then she saw writings at the back of the photo..
I'm sorry Aoko,
I tried to prevent this thing to happen but it looks like they manage to kill me,
I'm sorry I hurt you all the time,
Please stays save,
I don't want you to be hurt,
I'm also sorry to lie to you all these times,
Forgive me Aoko,

"Kaito…" Aoko cried and cried the whole night. Unknown to her, a white fade figure stand far away.. "I'm sorry Aoko, please forgive me.." and then the figure fade and become one with the cold night wind.
