Selena walked into the staffroom for the first time after she was stabbed. She quickly placed everything into her locker, eager to get stuck into the already busy shift.
"Selena, welcome back."
"Thanks, Maggie." Selena was embraced by Maggie and then other, members of the team. Once every one went back to the patients, Selena looked around for any sign of Harry. Having not seen him, she headed over to recess to help out.
"Need any help Tess?"
"We're okay thanks, Selena." Tess smiled at Selena and carried on changing a drain.
"Selena?"
"Harry." Selena turned smiling widely at her love.
"Come to my office."
"Harry?"
"Now." Harry held open the door as Selena walked out, shocked.
Selena sat down on the sofa in Harry's office, waiting for him to explain.
"How are you feeling, honey?" Harry sat next to Selena and held her hand.
"You brought me up here to ask me that?"
"I wanted to be with you."
"Harry, I'm fine. I just want to get back to work."
"I'm sorry sweetie. Just take it easy, I don't want to see you in that hospital bed again." Harry pulled Selena into a loving embrace, kissed her temple and sent her to work. "Take care."
"I will. See you tonight?"
"Straight after shift. Now go. And be careful."
"I promise."
