Spud hasn't seen Jake for the past hundred days.
They had broken up when Spud left for school in California and Jake stayed in NYC to take some courses and to protect the magical world.
Spud walked down at the pier thinking 'I'm here without you baby but your still on my lonely mind'

Spud was lying on his bed 'I'm here without you baby but your still with me in my dreams' he thought with tears flowing freely from his eyes
'and tonight it's only you and me' he fell asleep.
