People marched into camp Jaha, no one was truly happy when they went inside, the children that came back from Mount weather had witnessed one too many wicked things at their ages, pain and guilt piled on their shoulders.
The adults were also guilty, sending 100 kids down to earth do die was cruel and now that they were here the guilt was heavier.
And then there were the ones that lost someone, Jasper is an example he lost his love, many parents lost their children.
And the most guilty of them all were Bellamy and Clarke. They pulled the lever, they ended many innocent lives, guilt washed upon their faces while pain was etched in their eyes, they were both guilty so guilty and so in pain more than anyone knows. Clarke stood outside she was one of the last ones in the crowds of people, it had to be done Clarke reminded herself hoping it would take away some guilt, it didn't.
While everyone had already gone in Bellamy stood by the gate, he felt guilty but he couldn't have let Clarke have to bear doing it alone, he couldn't.
He spotted Clarke hugging Monty about a few feet away from the gate, they pulled away and he went inside.
Bellamy walked over to her, "I think we deserve a drink," Bellamy said and took his gaze away from Clarke and fixed it on the camp in front of them, the camp seemed like a prison to him, it kept unstable people, guilty people and to him, it seemed like if he stayed there it would be like being trapped.
Clarke didn't take her gaze away from the camp, she couldn't bear to see their faces every day it would just remind her of what she did.
"Have one for me" She told him staring blankly at the camp.
"Hey, you don't have to do this alone" He reassured losing it a little.
"I'm not going in," She told him, she was so sure of her decision she couldn't go inside she just can't.
"Look. If you need forgiveness, I'll give that to you. You're forgiven. Please come inside" He pleaded, he couldn't lose her, he knew he wouldn't survive the pain of her leaving him behind.
She shook her head tears clouded both their visions, Clarke tried to be strong that's what she has to do like always.
"Take care of them for me," She told him painfully.
"Clarke- "No Seeing their faces every day is just gonna remind me of what I did to get them here," She told him cutting him off.
"What we did you don't have to do this alone" He reassured, well more like pleaded he knew that he needed her more than ever.
"Bellamy I can't," She said her voice breaking tears filling up her bright blue eyes.
"I'll go with you," Bellamy told her, now he was actually losing it, he would go to the end of the world for her.
She gave him a questioning look.
"Clarke I-I can't lose you" He confessed pain in his eyes a sad smile on his lips.
Clarke went and hugged him, Bellamy was taken by surprise but immediately hugged her back.
Her small body in his strong arms, she nestled her head on the crook of his shoulder, "I can't lose you either" She admitted.
She pulled away from the hug, they both took a glance at Camp Jaha, no one would need them there, leaving
seemed like a great idea to the heartbroken, guilty filled co-leaders of the former juvenile delinquent camp.
They took a last glance at a place that wouldn't have been their homes even if they had stayed and they turned around and walked away
