"Do you think they'll be okay?" Tanya says softly without looking up from the book I knew she was pretending to read.

The people she was referring to was the Cullen's, they had asked our help in destroying a newborn army that is being created in Seattle.

But we had refused on the grounds that they wouldn't allow to avenge Lauren, Irina our sister's mate. Apparently they had made a treaty with some dogs around 50 years ago that had killed Laurent.

So when they refused to let us destroy the mutts we refused to help them. But even though we refused to help them we were still worried about them.

"I'm sure they'll be fine" I say trying to convince not only Tanya but myself at the same time that they were okay.

"We should have helped them" she says quietly finally looking up from her book. She looks sad and guilty at the same time.

I sigh knowing that she was right, we should have helped them. They were our friends; nearly our family and we just left them when they needed our help.

"Your right but what can we do? We promised Irina that we wouldn't help" I say turning back to my game that I was playing before Tanya voiced her concerns.

"We help" she says in determined tone of voice, I whip my head up at her suggestion shock clear on my face.

"We promised Irina that we wouldn't help" I say confused.

She looks unsure for a second, but then regains her composure. She stands from her seat and walks over to me with a determination that I had never seen before and says.

"I'm going to forks to help them, are you coming with me?"

I look at her debating my options, I could either stay here and keep my promise to Irina or I could I could go with Tanya. The one who made me the person I am today, the one who didn't treat me different because I was born with a penis.

After a few moments of mental debate I make my decision.

"I'm coming with you"
