-Chapter 1-

'Of course not! No one could get into the vault. The overseer has the pass-code...'
I awake from my nap, if you could call what I was doing such a luxury, in a state of panic, and confusion... Alarms were blaring, and there was a bedlam of great proportion. Screaming, muffled yet loud enough for me to hear, just outside my room. There seemed to be dozens of voices, all overlapping each-other at once.
I rise from my bed, and just in time to see a spurt of blood stain my window. This startles me, and I shake my my mane, as I toss the previous thought of a shower, and go 'grab' my gun. I quickly slide into my officer armor, and put my helmet on. I then move to my door, and press the 'activate' button on it.

'Come on... You can do this... 'It's not your first cuppa tea' I think to myself, just as my commanding officer had told me on a certain job. The door opens, and I step out, looking about, frantically.

"Hello?" I call out, and look to my left. no one seemed to be there, however, looking to my left I see the source of the blood spurt. A pony lay on the ground with a broken nose, and a bashed in skull. I have to cover my mouth, and back away to keep myself from vomiting. The body didn't smell bad, it's just that I've only ever killed a radroach. And that was one time.

All too suddenly, i feel myself getting pushed into the wall in front of me, and my helmet bashes against it with a loud THUD. I felt a bit of wooziness immediately afterwards, and then something I haven't felt in a while. My body rushed with adrenaline, and I turn to see my attacker. It was merely the custodian, and he seemed to be in a severe fit of anger, and rage. Despite him looking directly into my eyes, he charges at me again. With the adrenaline rush, and the pain from my head, I swing my gun down, and it makes contact with his head. He falls to the ground, and now I start to feel sick to my stomach.

'Oh god... What have I done...?' I think to myself, and start down the hallway. "Wait..." I mutter under my breath, and look down another hallway to the left. "I should check if Astro, And Apollo are okay..." I go down the left hallway.

After about a 5 minute walk, I see Astro's door. I open it with my emergency clearance, and walk in. Yet as soon as I do so, I get hit over the head AGAIN. "GAH! Astro, It's me!" I yell.

She drops her pan, and helps me up. "Oh baby I'm so sorry! Are you okay?!" She asks, very worried, as blood drips down my forehead.

"Not really..." I reply. "Any sign of Apollo?" I ask her.

She shakes her head. "No... But the raiders haven't come down here yet."

I stop her. "Raiders?" My confusion, and worries only grow now.

"Yes... Raiders... Were you asleep or something when they announced it? Raiders BROKE the vault door down!"

I sigh. "Well... I'm getting Apollo, and we're all three getting the FUCK out of here..."

She simply nods, and we cross the hall to Apollo's room. We give him the gist of what's going on, and he, as well, is with us on our way out.
