as punishment, ino and kiba are assigned to look after the principle's grandson while he's away. however, the two aren't exactly on friendly terms but unlikely circumstances bring them to a common ground. summary sucks, give it a try!

authors note: this is my first naruto fic up here so be nice! this story centers mostly on kiba and ino's relationship, but there are some side pairings likes hinata/naruto, and shikamaru/temari. there might be more but i haven't really thought that far ahead! oh and just so you know it's going to be somewhat like 500 hundred days of summer with a couple changes and twists. anyway, onto the story!

Without a doubt, this story begins with a girl and a boy. The girl, Ino Yamanaka, born and raised in Konoha, grew up believing that she would never feel truly happy until she met the one. This belief was fed by Jane Austen novels and an overdose of cheesy romantic movies on television. On the other hand, Kiba Inuzuka, also of Konoha, opposed her beliefs. After the divorce of his parents, Kiba was set on believing that love only existed in books and movies. He did not believe in love, and only thought of it as a mess that he should stay away from. Contrary to belief, this is not a story of how girl meets boy, but how girl meets boy for the second time.
