DISCLAIMER: I own nothing

"What's wrong, Star?"

Clutching her arms to her chest, Starfire glanced at her side, gaze coming across white lenses as she offered a smile. "Nothing, friend Robin."

Robin arched a brow, fixing her with a questioning stare. "You sure?" He inquired, the laughter of his teammates echoing around them. "If there's anything bothering you, you know you can talk to me."

The scarlet haired girl bit her lip, "the thing is that, well..."

"Well, what?"

He was startled when she pointed forward, her eyes wide with horror as she locked gazes with him. "The sky is falling, Robin!" She cried out, and the boy wonder blinked, glancing ahead before a smile touched his lips.

Starfire blinked, staring in sheer bewilderment as he let out a laugh, reaching out and gently tugging her arm back. Her brows furrowed, "you are not frightened that the earth sky is falling?"

"No, Star." He chuckled warmly, shoulders shaking in mirth. "The sky isn't falling."

"But, but—" she protested, turning her head to the pure white before them. "Is this not the remains of the sky?"

A smile plastered on his face, Robin shook his head once more. "It's called snow," he explained, gesturing towards the white powdered scenery around the tower.

Starfire cocked her head to the side, her green orbs bright with curiousty. "Snow?"

"Yeah," Robin responded, then lifted a brow. "You don't get that in Tamaran?"

The alien shook her head, and Robin grinned toothily, reaching out and clasping his hand with hers. Heat crawling up her cheeks, Starfire gave him a look, a gasp of surprise escaping her lips as he trudged forward, tugging her along with him as they made their way into the snow.

"Robin, what are yo—"

"Come on, Star. Let's have some fun!"

Butterflies fluttering in her stomach, she stared as Robin stooped downwards, bunching up snow in his gloved hands before holding it towards her. She reached forward hesitantly, touching it with delicate fingers. It was pleasantly cold, and so very soft. She giggled, taking it from him as she eyed it curiously.

And suddenly, something collided with her face, emerald eyes cracking open, snowflakes stuck to her fiery red brows. Beast Boy's laughter hit her ears while Robin scowled slightly. "Beast Boy," the boy wonder chided, "you shouldn't—"

A snowball hit his face, and Robin blinked behind his domino mask, narrowing his eyes as Starfire giggled in her open palm. "Oh," Robin wiped his face, the ends of his lips quirking upwards into a smug smirk. "So you wanna play too, huh, Star?" He grinned, bending down and chucking a snowball at her.

Her laughter was like music to his ears as she dodged elegantly, then smirked triumphantly and Robin felt highly perplexed as she gazed upwards, a sly smirk stretching her lips as her eyes shone, green orbs igniting around her fists before she threw a star bolt above them. The branches of the tree shook violently, Robin yelping as a heap of pure white snow fell, burying him in beneath completely.

He stood up abruptly, pushing the snow off, the white dust resting atop his head while Starfire laughed heartily, nearing him. "Yeah, yeah," he huffed, despite the smile on his face. "You win."

"That was most enjoyable!" She giggled, and he stiffened as she slid her arm through is. "Will you like to continue in playing with the snow, friend Robin?"

He glanced to their arms, before looking up at her. "Actually," he smiled as she leaned into him, "how 'bout we get some hot chocolate now?"

Green eyes softened, and Starfire nodded, smiling softly as they began walking, arm in arm, through the snowy wonderland, making their way to the warm tower.
