Life was good for Jackson Brewer.

Maybe it was the fact that he was in that after sleep glow that left one feeling warm and satisfied. Maybe it was the fact that he had his beautiful, naked wife in his arms, separated by nothing but thin, soft sheets. Maybe it was the fact that it was Christmas Eve and he had the perfect gift for said wife, Jack didn't know. But right now, he was happy to be alive, and with the person he loved most, so close to Christmas.

"Jack?" Kim's beautiful, caramel sounding voice broke him out of his reverie, resulting in his cracking open of one eye. She truly was his everything. Her long, golden, curly hair was spread out in a glorious tumble over the red satin pillow covers she'd begged him to get. The curve of her creamy shoulders disappeared under the layers of blankets he'd lovingly tucked her in with every night. The gently roundness of her bosom was pressed into his side, her face the first thing he got to see every morning, even though he was lying on his back. Delicate fingers traced the ripples of the muscles in his back, and the look in her tea colored eyes made him feel amazing.

"Morning beautiful," he croaked, husky voice bringing a smile to her gorgeous lips.

"We have the Christmas party today, Jack." She reminded him gently, tracing mindless patterns on his back. "You have to get up."
He groaned, reaching an arm out from under the covers to tug Kim closer to him. "I don't wanna," Jack truthfully admitted, and she giggled at him.

"Please?" She gave in the puppy dog eyes, and Jack moaned again, closing her eyes because he knew she always got what she wanted when she did that face to him.

"Fine…" he grumbled, and Kim gave him a full blown smile.

"Merry Christmas, Jackson," she whispered, kissing him gently on the mouth.

"Merry Christmas, Kimberly," he returned, returning the kiss a bit more passionately.

Life, was definitely good for Jackson Brewer.
