Life of SimCity Sims
Chapter 1
John
Hello, my name is John, and I am a Sim. I'm here, driving my family and myself to Clearwater. Clearwater is a small town in NeoSimNation, the new SimNation. You see, the original SimNation might have been nice ten or so years ago when I was a kid, but now it's been long abandoned by its Mayors, and it's been left to rot, despite the fact that there're still millions of Sims living in SimNation. So now, many Sims are now moving into NeoSimNation, looking for a better life. My family and I are a few of those Sims who're taking the chance on Clearwater, NeoSimNation. My wife, Ramona, and our two children, Bobby and Bella. We've arrived at our new house. It's a nice, small house. Blue paint, and a nice driveway. Not much, but it's a start. The children currently don't have a school to attend, but the Clearwater Mayor, Mayor Brown, a new, young Mayor, has promised that a school will be built. I am currently looking for a job, but my wife has already got a job working a small job as a store clerk in the small downtown. Hopefully, I'll find a job, and our family will be successful here in Clearwater!

My life sucks. There really isn't much to it. I've lived in a giant city my entire life, SimCity Capital. Everyone says that it's "such a wonderful city" and "it's a great place to live". Oh really? Well, not everyone is super rich, or has a great education, or gets a great job, the world just doesn't work like that. I lived in a low-income home, both of my parents worked factory jobs, and guess what? No school. That's right, I never went to school. There was no school in my neighborhood, and the bus route didn't go through our street. Well, since I didn't have to go to school, I got bored, got into some, no, a lot of trouble, and it was fun as a kid. But I grew up, and tried getting jobs. But there never seemed to be any jobs to be had, even the job flipping burgers at the local restaurant was competed for. So, I stuck to crime, it was what I did already. I'm not saying I was proud of it, but, it was what I had to do. Over the years the city began to dry out. It started with the silly Mayor Defacto, and his big-wig advisors abandoning the city. Who cares? They weren't doing anything as it was. So now, I'm moving to Clearwater, NeoSimNation, a small town on the edge of NeoSimNation. It seems decent enough, and I heard that there're jobs there. Who knows, maybe I can actually get a job, or not.

Guh, another long day. Returning home to my condo downtown, my are feet aching, my legs are sore and just being plain old tired. I swung open my apartment door, and collapsed onto the couch. Just another long day. I work at Clearwater's City Hall as the Mayor's Chief Advisor. As you can imagine, it's grueling work, especially since he and I don't exactly see eye to eye. You see, SimNation isn't a democracy, it's a first come, first serve basis when it comes to jobs. Oh, why did I call it NeoSimNation? Well, because it's not. It's not a "new SimNation", it's the exact same SimNation, run by mostly the same Mayors. Sure, there are some new Mayors, but it's mostly old Mayors. Actually, Mayor Brown, the "young strapping" new Mayor of Clearwater, is actually Defacto himself. Yep, the infamous Mayor of SimNation's Capital. Before taking the job, I was concerned that people would find out, but ah, I shouldn't worry about it. After all, the Sims have all forgotten him, right?
Author's Note: Something quick and simple for SimCity, enjoy :)
