A/N: Good news! I finally got a computer! That's second hand! That has windows XP! And 11 years old! That ironically far exceeds the performance of my 4-year-old windows 7 laptop!
Anyway, I don't think I have written a silent hill fanfiction on here so why not? I guess it's not much of a fanfiction because it's an event that occurs in the game but oh well
I walked into a small room in the hospital, which, according to the map was a storeroom.
After all this torture, a little bit of respite was to die for and with how small the room was I was not expecting to have any monsters jump out and attack me like they had done in almost every other room I had been in. I know the radio makes static when I get near monsters but that is a huge problem! The radio kicks in with the white noise just before my flashlight can illuminate them, which honestly makes it useless and just all together shitty if I get little warning of what's ahead.
In this room however, there was nothing but a mirror and a sink and while the former does for some reason make me uncomfortable, it was better than those strange nurse things outside and definitely a football field away from those strange penis monster things.
I slouched against the back wall, which wasn't very clean to say the least, and stared at the mirror trying to shake away that feeling of there being a different person staring back at me. I held a mini staring contest with my reflection and smiled slyly as I came to terms with the fact that was all it was, a reflection; just the image of me being reflected back at me; nothing more, nothing less. That was until I realised that while my innocent reflection was smiling, I wasn't, and the room the reflection showed seemed to have lines of a dark red substance spreading along the floor. Soon the whole room was covered with it, yet where I stood was still clean (or grubby, whatever the normal state of the room could be considered), even the 'reflection' of myself was covered in what could only be blood.
And then I heard gurgling, and as the room in the reflection seemed to clean, the room I was in began to fill with the red lines of blood.
I ran towards the door and tried to open it yet it was locked, and the 'reflection' seemed to be silently laughing at my own terror, as the blood began to create a small thin pool that began to bubble and turn into a yellowy fluid. The red lines began to climb up my legs and I heard a faint click coming from the door behind me. To my amazement it had unlocked, and I ran out of the room as quickly as my legs could carry me.
Upon slamming the door I couldn't help but think how much I hated mirrors and preferred the puppet nurses.
