AUTHORS NOTE: FIRST FANFIC! PLEASE REVIEW AND HOPE YOU LIKE IT! ;) MASSINGTON
"Mom, please! Let me stay!" I pleaded once more. And of course, she said no. I gave a frustrated sigh, and walked up to my room, without a word. When I closed the door, I let go of the tears I've been holding in since when I last saw my best friends, the PC. There was Alicia, the beautiful Spanish dancer with exotic charms. Dylan, the funniest girl in the whole world, with fiery red hair and bright green eyes. Kristen, the smart athletic girl, with her golden blond hair and blue eyes. Claire, the sweet girl, with her cornflower blue eyes and white blond hair. We were all in the eighth grade, and have been there for each other since fourth grade (Claire not included). My eyes blurred once again. Thinking about me, alone, in England, was hard to bear. Especially without my best friends around. When I was done, I wiped my cheeks and went to the bathroom. I splashed cold water on my face, and reapplied my makeup. I looked happy and cheerful. I forced a smile on my face as I heard my mom shout, "Massie, you have a guest!" I pushed my thumb into the intercom. "Let them in" I hear myself say. I heard footsteps in front of my door, so I rush to my closet and pretend I was packing. "Hello?" I heard a voice say. A masculine voice, to be exact. Hmm... That voice was so famil… WAIT A SECOND! It was.. Derrick. The guy I used to love and still do. The one that broke my heart and dated my best friend. I cautiously walk into the room. "Derrick..." I start. He turns and sees me, and his startled expression soon turned into a genuine grin. "Hey Block." He says. "Hey, Derrick. What are you doing here?" I wondered. He looks at shoes and looks up, with his face full of sadness. His eyes search my face, and when they locked with mine, I felt tingles running down my body. Oh, those chocolate brown eyes I missed so much. He finally broke the silence. "Here." He shoves some flowers towards me awkwardly. I resisted a grin. He looked…nervous. He looked at me, and whispered "I miss you Block." I was taken aback, startled. He started to touch my shoulder, but recoiled and said "I should go now." "Wait, Derrick!" I shout. He turned and looked at me with a confused look. I motioned him over to where I was standing, and he waited for me to say something. I opened my mouth to tell him that he hurt me and I will never take him back, but what came out surprised him and me. "I love you." And with that, I stared at my fingernails and blushed. I couldn't bear to let him see my face now. His hand slipped under my chin and pulled my face toward his. He paused, just about one inch in between our lips. His eyes locked with mine, and he said "You have beautiful eyes, Block." He leaned in. When our lips touched, I felt like I was going to explode. I closed my eyes and kissed him back, his lips were so warm and soft. We pulled away after a minute, and he grabbed my face in his hands and said "I love you." He grinned his adorable crooked grin, and I smiled at him. He left without another word. My eyes followed him. I'll miss you, I thought sadly.
