Imagine if after years of fighting the Rebel Alliance and The Empire could come together and form the New Republic. Imagine if Vader and The Emperor were still alive. Imagine if the reason they came together was the Yuuzhan Vong were attacking both of them. Imagine if Luke, Leia and the rest of the crew had to get along with Vader and The Emperor. How would Jaina, Jacen and Anakin react. Well here's the story....
Jaina strolled through the falcon. Force, this is totally overrated mean just look at all those Imperial twits out there. No-way am I gonna be able to deal with the "New Republic" crap after all they did to the Alliance. This must be a sham, I mean why would the Empire want to join us?
The Falcon shudded as it landed on the landing bay in the heart of Coruscant, the Emperor's palace.
"Jacen, Jaina, Anakin get your butts down here right now" their dad called. After a few minutes they all appeared looking bored and in Anakin's case, scared.
"Now I know your not too happy about this whole thing but I would ask you to at least behave" their mother lectured. Jaina rolled her eyes.
"Whatever Mom" Jaina replied.
"Anakin what's wrong?" Leia quizzed
"He's scared, stop giving him the third degree" Jacen told her. He immediately looked out of a window and began to make rude gestures to the Imperials.
"Jacen, if you don't stop I'll make you apologise to each of them" Leia told him sternly "and" she continued "do chores for them, and double chores for me in a flowery apron"
He looked up in horror at her and said "You wouldn't"
"Oh yes I would" she glared at him. "Now, let's go and meet our new allies" she said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. They followed her towards the exits got out of the ship, only to come face to face with the dreaded Lord of the Sith Darth Vader.
"You are late" he said to Han who immediately took this as an offence.
"Hey, buddy. Try getting through one end of the galaxy to the other in a day with three moaning kids at your back" He replied. "Speakin of which, this is Jaina, Jacen and..Anakin"
Vader immediately cast his glare on Anakin who began to tremble uncontrollably and gripped his mother.
"An unusual name choice, I have no doubt who he was named after, but the republic doesn't change anything" He spat "I still won't trust rebels" Emphasising Rebels as if it left a bad taste on his tongue "Follow Me" he ordered.
Don't take it badly then Jaina thought. With that they followed him to the Emperor's private reception rooms were he was awaiting them on his throne tapping his fingers looking impatiently who the treated them to one of his rare smiles.
"Welcome" he said "to Coruscant"
