If Nanao ever thought that maybe, just maybe, he would have changed after Aizen's defeat, after the fight was over, after so many captaincy positions were made empty, she was very wrong indeed.
Because Shunsui Kyouraku is just as flamboyant, just as perverted, just as likely to get stone drunk at one in the afternoon, as he ever was.
And that's perfectly fine with Nanao, because too much has changed over the past few years already, enough to send her world into a wild tailspin and leave the landscape completely foreign to her fuddled eyes.
So now whenever her captain makes an inappropriate remark, lewd suggestion or downright pass at her, just the same as before, Nanao hides the smile that threatens to cross her features behind an adjustment to her glasses and a well-aimed smack, just the same as before, and finds it a little easier to adapt to the new scenery.
