AN: So I haven't written this in a while and want to again, but I don't like how I started it, so I'm editing as I go. I hope you don't mind, this way makes a lot more sense to me than how I was writing it before and my writing has changed a bit since the last time I wrote this so I'd rather get the whole story on one page than what it would be otherwise.

The league was having their monthly meeting in the watchtower, it was a relatively quiet month so all the members were able to attend. Green Arrow was about to start his report when Flash interrupted, "We know, no one did anything but stop a few car chases this month. Why are we even having this meeting?"

"Don't say that! You'll jinx us!" Green Arrow glared at the speedster.

An alarm sounded and a holoscreen booted up on the table. Green Arrow glared smugly at Flash before a news report started demanding the attention of every hero in the room.

"... live from Metropolis, where two unknown objects just fell from the sky, demolishing two city blocks upon impact. It is unclear as of now just what these objects are, our only clue coming from our weather camera." A picture of two blurry objects appeared on the screen briefly, one orange and one blue, before switching back to the live feed, "Wait, is that crater moving?"

The camera zoomed in on the center of one of the craters. The rubble was shaking for a few seconds before exploding outward, damaging some of the nearby buildings. A man stood where the rubble once was. The camera showed he had orange clothes on and had blond hair before he disappeared from the camera's frame. The camera panned over to the smaller crater showing the man flinging rubble into the air, apparently in search of the other object, now thought to be another man.

"We need to get down there. People are in danger." Superman growled.

"How'd he even survive that fall?" Green Arrow said.

"No normal person could." Superman said before flying out of the room.

"Flash. Follow him." Batman nodded to the speedster to go.

...

Superman flew above the man, by the time he and Flash arrived the man had freed his companion from the rubble as well.

"He has a mini me." Flash noted. The two looked surprisingly similar, both sporting blond hair and a similar build.

The man turned from trying to wake his companion, "Who are you?" He asked.

"Who are you?" Superman said, "And why are you destroying my city?"

"You don't know who we are?" Flash asked at the same time.

"I'm Goku, and I don't know who you are. Or how I got here. Where is here?" Goku asked, Flash could tell he didn't trust the two heroes at all.

"How'd you survive that fall?" Superman said.

"Why won't you answer any of my questions?" Goku glared at the two men.

"I'm Flash, and that's Superman. Don't mind him, he's a little grumpy right now. Well more grumpy than usual. You know, destroyed city and all. Why'd you do that by the way, fall into the city?"

Goku looked at Flash, the hard glint in his eyes fading the slightest bit. "We didn't mean to, we were training. I don't know how we got here."

"No human could survive that fall. Where'd you come from?" Superman dropped down from where he had been hovering, trying to intimidate Goku with his presence.

"No human could move as fast as the two of you either." Goku glared at Superman fully now, whatever had softened when Flash had spoke earlier had left in an instant.

"Hey! I'm human!" Flash protested.

"You speak as though you're not human." Superman said.

"So do you." Goku inched closer to Superman, away from the boy still unconscious in the rubble.

"Okay guys, enough with the tough guy stand off, why can't we all just sit down and talk about things?" Flash tried to get in between the two.

"He could be a threat to my city." Superman growled.

"Or he could just be someone who showed up out of nowhere with no bad intentions and just trying to visit Metropolis for a nice day out on the town with a kid." Flash couldn't help but wonder where the rest of the league was, or at least when Batman would show up to help diffuse the situation.

"I'm not a threat to your city." Goku said.

"Then why won't you tell me if you're human or not? You speak as though you aren't."

"I'm not. I'm a Saiyan."

"I've heard of your kind, you kill just for the fun of it!" Superman lunged to grab Goku.

"I'm not a killer! My race is decimated anyway. There's only two of us left, and we don't kill for fun." Goku ducked away from Superman's grab at him.

"Likely story." Superman tried to attack him this time, throwing a punch towards his face.

"Stop it! I'm not here to hurt anyone! I don't even know where here is!" Goku continued to dodge the punches coming his way.

"Supes, maybe we should wait for Batman." Flash tried to reason with the angry Kryptonian.

Instead of listening to the speedster, Superman flew into the air. "You're not going to hurt anyone if I can help it!" Superman exclaimed before firing his heat vision at Goku.

Instead of waiting for the beam to hit him on the ground, Goku flew up to meet it and deflected it into the sky. "You're going to be the one to hurt people if you keep that up!" Goku said angrily.

Superman just flew towards Goku in reply, clearly trying to attack him again.

Goku looked down briefly to Flash, "Can I trust you to take care of my son?"

Flash looked around before realizing the stranger was talking to him. "Uh, sure?"

"Great, I'll be back soon." Goku said before dashing off through the sky, Superman right behind him.

"Alright, I guess it's just you and me for now." Flash said, looking down at the boy.
