Imagination Can Kill
Disclaimer: I do not own Degrassi :)
you looked into my eyes, and whispered.
" What are you?"
I was silent as a tear danced down my numb face, and whispered back
" I'm a prisoner of your own imagination."
You looked back at me in awe, with a morbid expression
"What should I do?"
I kissed your cheek tenderly
" Set me free. let me go."
You held me close, so close I could hear your heart thrashing against your rib cage. Your breath was hot on the nape of my neck. Everything was blending into a beautiful silent haze. The oceans of your soul were glassy. I feel your secure grip tighten around me. I feel your tears on my flesh. Your holding onto me, because you have nothing left to hold onto. Your breath is ragged, and hoarse like you had been crying for days.
" I can't let you go, I need your forever."
I can save you.. I can save your life just ask me too I thought to myself, but you remained silent. You used me as your anchor. You looked so fragile like if I let you go, you would fall to the ground and shatter.
" Save me" you said pleadingly.
You were addicted, and addict. An addict to the pain. You could not stop the rush felt to good. The crimson looked to magnificent to you. All reason, and logic disappeared.
" Okay" my voice cracked with pure anguish.
I have a fear of being trapped, but I have a fear of losing you to the monster inside you.
I feel nothing though, and all I see is the auroral light. Its time. He let me go.
" I will always love you" I whisper before my spirit is engulfed warmth but all I can feel is the cold sting of nostalgia. You yearned for my presence as your cure, but you set me free. you set me free. You no longer believe in me. Your heart no longer beats, and your smile never seizes the world, because you died when you set me free. The darkness saturated your being, and plagued you with demons. They stole your soul, and left an empty shell. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I could not save you. I wanted to so badly. Your no longer in pain now, you can sleep for eternity in total serenity.
