That was you?

Mercedes's Point of View

As I got home from school, my father dropped me off with my mom. So, meaning, I'm at the hospital. I saw her, talking to the younger boy again. I have been seeing him lately around here. My mom was kneeling down to him, taking his hand.

"Your father will be out with the news if she alive or not, ok, Kurt?" He nodded, "There you are, sweetheart." My mom said, getting up, hugging me. "We will go shopping later. I gotta check on Kurt's mom. Why don't you and Kurt talk for a while?"

As she left, I smiled to Kurt "My name is Mercedes."

"Nice to meet you, Mercedes." He sniffed.

"Hey, think positive, all right?" I hugged him.

He let go and gave me a smile, "Thanks." He looked over seeing a guy coming out, "Dad…" He whispered.

"Kurt," He kneeled down to Kurt like how my mom did, "She is…..gone."

Kurt started tearing. "Kurt," I started. "I'm truly sorry."

Then he broke down. I couldn't stand to see Kurt crying. His father hugged him, "I'm sorry, Kurt. She had to leave though. She couldn't suffer on earth."

"Mercedes!" My mom called. I got up and went to her, "Let's go shopping!"

I nodded as she put an arm around her. I looked back at Kurt. His father holds him in his arms as he took him out of the room. Kurt was still crying. I could understand.

(10 years later) "Look! I need a solo in Glee Club." I yelled at Rachel and our new glee club member, Jesse.

They just walked away and I groaned. I saw Kurt come by. He had tears in his eyes, "Kurt. Hey, Buddy." I said.

"Oh, Hello Mercedes." He wiped some tears and put some hair spray in his hair.

"Kurt, what's wrong?" I asked.

"You won't understand."

"Kurt, I'm your best friend." I said. He looked to me, "I know everything about you."

"Today…Was the day my mother died."

"Kurt…" Then a flashback came to mind

"Kurt," He kneeled down to Kurt like how my mom did, "She is…..gone."

"Your father will be out with the news if she alive or not, ok, Kurt?"

"You were in the hospital right?" I asked.

"Yes," He said, looking at me, closing his locker. We walked together, "Why?"

"Was there a girl named—"

"MERCEDES!" He smiled, "THAT WAS YOU!"

I smiled, "I guess."

He hugged me. One of those special Kurt hugs….

(At the end of the school day) I and Kurt walked to Glee club. "I'm guessing that's why we're best friends." Kurt randomly said.

I looked to him, "Ya…I guess…"

We walked in, knowing Rachel and Finn or Jesse would sing.

"Mr. S," Rachel said, "I want Kurt and Mercedes to do a duet"

"Well," Mr. S said, "Would you guys want to?"

I looked to Kurt, "Want to?"

"I always do, Mercedes."

A/N: Review plz. I got to get to bed testing is coming up haha. And I'm staying up doing something I love. BTW I might write one in Kurt's Point of View hope you Gleeks loved it!
