One Sentence Meme (GerPru)
#1 – Angst
"We're going to build a wall," Gilbert informed him in cold, clipped tones, crimson gaze unwavering even as Ludwig visibly crumpled; it was easy to pretend to be unfeeling when he felt hollow inside.
#2 – AU
Lights out at the corrections facility signalled the end of the day shift, and as the fluorescent lamps winked out one by one, Gilbert stole a quick, celebratory kiss from Ludwig.
#3 – Crack!fic
"Is that your baton rubbing my buttocks, Officer Ludwig, or are you just happy to see me?"
#4 – Crossover
Ludwig snatched Gilbert's hand and, letting his mask slip, pulled Gilbert in an embrace and whispered fiercely into his ear, "I will remove you from his power, I swear it! Tell me where the lake house is! I must kill him!"
#5 – First Time
Gilbert had always kissed Ludwig, usually on the cheek or forehead with an affectionate ruffle of his hair, but the day came when Ludwig was tall enough to initiate his own kisses and the first time was anything but familial.
#6 – Fluff
They were bathing the dogs when Gilbert took charge of the hose and splashed playfully at Ludwig; things quickly got out of hand, at the end of which they were both thoroughly soaked and snogging passionately, the dogs still covered in soap suds.
#7 – Humour
"German automotive engineering at its finest!" Gilbert boasted, aiming a light kick at a tyre of his beloved 1975 Trabant; the number plate, which had been duct-taped to the rear bumper, fell off with a resounding clang.
#8 – Hurt/Comfort
When Gilbert clambered over the wall he had been nothing more than a husk of a man with his dusty coat and tattered scarf; Ludwig rushed to him, and when they embraced Gilbert broke simultaneously into tears and laughter.
#9 – Smut
He stroked powerfully into Gilbert and knew he had hit that delicious spot at the way Gilbert stiffened and shivered, letting slip a long, broken moan that shot more heat into Ludwig's groin.
#10 – UST
There was something decidedly lewd about the way Gilbert was suckling his ice lolly, Ludwig decided.
Some notes on the drabbles:
1) It's been a little headcanon of mine that Gilbert was bitter with Ludwig, and it sort of frightened him into building the wall because he didn't want to grow to hate his own brother.
2) Officers Luddy and Gilbo in a prison!AU, courtesy of The Shawshank Redemption! There was much debate over whether they should be prison guards or prisoners, or even one in each role, but a toss of the coin decided it. Kind of.
3) A cracky follow-up to the AU prompt. I don't even know orz
4) Crossover with Gaston Leroux's Phantom of the Opera: Luddy is Raoul, Gilbo is Christine, and our phantom is none other than Vanya! I thought PotOto be a quite fitting story for my favourite OT3 3
5) I wonder how awkward it must have been for Ludwig, I made it sound so smooth here. Maybe he tried not to think about it and just went for it!
6) Poor dogs xD
7) The 1975 Trabant, an East German car make, has been voted one of the worst cars of all time. But Gilbert would still hold some affection for it; many East Germans crossed the border into the west in Trabants, and it sort of came to symbolise freedom.
8) Really struggled with this one, I'm not sure if I filled the prompt right orz
9) This was a lot of fun to write, hurhurhur...
10) So how genuinely oblivious was Gilbert? Heh.
