The music playing on my personal radio was making me thoughtlessly dance and hum along, and then I sung the lyrics. It probably looked weird, a teen rookie fire fighting helicopter parading around to her musical beat. I honestly knew better then to roll around in my own little world when I could be practicing what I've covered so far.

"Torch!" I hear someone call my name and froze, stopping my song and turning off my radio. I glance around rapidly with my muddy brown eyes before seeing Dipper right in front of me. I cry out in surprise at the bigger plane having snuck up on me so easily.

"Ha! Scared you!" the female crowed in victory, I huff softly; it was indeed hard to catch me off guard most of the time.

"Did you need something Dipper? And yes, you did startle Me." Was the smiling reply I gave.

"Not anymore. The look on your face was good enough." She laughs with a playful glint to her eyes. It was hard for me to take Dipper seriously at times, I remembered when Dusty Crop hopper came in for training awhile back, of course I wasn't always close by, but I'd heard enough from Maud to piece it together.

I was a previous coast guard worker, but a long ago incident made me to damaged to serve anymore. Nobody but myself knew of what exactly made me leave.

With a low whir of my rotors I slowly made my way to my hangar, well it was more of a shared hangar, I was thankful Dipper didn't mind allowing me to reside with her, even if I tended to talk in my sleep. We seemed to get along well; she was a good friend to have.

I just had to be careful of her wings; I cannot remember how many times she accidentally had awaked me with such.

((Authors note: This is my first story, I have written this out in my own notebook, I apologize for this start being short, but I hope you will bear with me.

Kindest regards from Brat ;P ))
