My first 11th Doctor ficlet. Enjoy! Note: This is slightly AU, since I'm not including Amy and Rory, but I AM including River Song.

"Bloody hell, the TARDIS has a mind of its own today!" River Song groaned, as the TARDIS began to go again. "Sweetie! I'm gonna need some help in here!"

The Doctor walked into the main room, frowning.

"First off, please don't call me sweetie, secondly, yes, I know. It's been acting up lately."

Wa-ow! Wa-ow! Wa-ow!

The TARDIS finally came to a stop, leaving River Song frustrated.

"Last time we ended up in a nest of Pterodactyl eggs. Let me see if I can fix something, you go look outside and see where we are. Just don't go far, and please don't do anything stupid." she said raising her eyebrows.

Why am I letting her fix my TARDIS?

Shaking off the thought The Doctor nodded and hurried outside.

He could tell that they were still on Earth, and not too far into the future or past by the looks of it.

They had landed in front of some kind of building. Looking up, the Doctor realized it was a church.

Interesting.

He walked up to the window, looking inside. There was some kind of ceremony going on, but the Doctor couldn't quite tell what it was.

Taking a closer look, he realized it was a wedding. The bride and the groom stood holding hands, as the preacher read off something from a book. The Doctor smiled.

"How adorable. I wonder if they'll need anyone to dance there...dancing is cool..."

However, something was wrong. As the Doctor continued to peer into the glass, he could almost swear that he recognized the bride and groom.

For one thing, the groom was very handsome. He had bushy black hair, small eyes and was very tall and skinny. He wore a blue bowtie on his suit...

"Who's THAT? Whoever that man is, I must say, he's got some style..."

The Doctor's eyes bulged as he recognized the groom at last. It was himself.

I'm getting married...

"I'm getting married?"

"Whoaaaa, okay..." he sputtered. That was just...weird?

"Definitely weird." he whispered to himself.

Squinting his eyes, he tried to make out who the bride was. She had long, bushy brown hair that was very curly.

"Oh God...that's River Song. I'm getting married to River Song."

The preacher finished reading from the book, and the future him and River Song kissed before the crowd. The Doctor now recognized a few people in the audience.

Sarah Jane Smith, Captain Jack Harkness, Martha Jones, Amy, Donna Noble, Rory...

The Doctor slowly backed away from the window.

I'm getting married to River Song sometime in the future...I'm getting married...

Shaking his head, he made his way back to the TARIDS in a daze where River Song was finishing up a few things.

"Hello handsome, I think I've got it now, we should be set. We land anywhere interesting?"

The Doctor froze. "Ah, no...We-we just landed in some field in uh-ah-Barcelona. Nothing exciting."

River Song narrowed her eyes.

"Then why were you gone so long?"

The Doctor bit his lip. "I-I saw a shooting star. It looked like one of those small spaceships that belong in the Zustar Alliance."

"You saw a shooting star in broad daylight..."

"Yes."

She nodded, her eyes still narrowed. "Right then. Let's go, we have work to do."

"Allonzy!" he said somewhat nervously, giving her a cheesy grin.

She laughed. "Allonzy, Doctor."

By the way, as we all know, 'allonzy' was the 10th Doctor's catchphrase...it means 'let's go' in French. :) Review and tell me how it was!
