(Lucina's POV)

Hello, my name is Lucina. I'm about to tell you the story of how I felt happy.

When I was in middle school, my old friends and I used to hang out together, we would play video games, tell stories, and pull pranks.

But that all changed when Dorothy, a new girl at that time, came to my school.

(Flashback start Lucina's POV)

"U-Um h-hi? I'm Dorothy." said the brown haired girl. She was 5'2 and had a long shirt on, she wore a green skirt underneath.

"C-can I be your friend?" Dorothy cooed shyly. My friends accepted, but then, I knew her plans. My friends started paying more and more attention to her! At school I felt sad as my old friends had replaced me for Dorothy. I had seen a flyer for Ness' band in the cafeteria, it said they needed one more singer. I took the flyer and rushed off, I explained to my parents that I was part of a band at school and I would get home late.

"Ah, Lucy." Ness said. "Welcome." I cleared my throat as Lucas began hitting two drumsticks together,

"ONE, TWO, ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!" Lucas yelled. He banged on the drums as Bowser Jr began playing a guitar, Ness began on his keyboard, and Zelda and Mabel waiting for me.

"Friends are friends, good hearts know no ends." I began.

"A friend with a good heart is hard to find, Most friends are blinded with riches, and if their rich friend does wrong, they aren't any snitches." Zelda and Mabel echoed.

"A friend is never really a friend! They lie and say they'll be with you through the end!" The three of us say. We finally finished our song, though I giggled at disputes over title names.

"Why don't we call it 'good friends never end?'" I asked. Ness smiled and nods. We made the song into a disc and began to put away our instruments.

The next day our song was on the school website, someone must've recorded it and posted it, My classmates were proud of me. Through out the school year our band became more popular as my feelings for a certain keyboard player grew. We confessed and took a break as we were out in a meadow looking at the sky.

"Our last CD was a HIT!" Bowser jr bragged. "We're 8th graders and our CD is one of the best on Fightertube!" We left, but we bumped into my old friends, I tripped as Ness helped me up.

"You ok, Lucy?" He asked.

"WHO ARE YOU?!" boomed Ron.

"I'm her boyfriend, idiot!" Ness responded. He helped me up.

"Yo, Lucy! My guitar's ready for another song!" Bowser jr laughs.

"Ok, BJ. We need to study a new song first."

"You never gave me a nickname!" wailed Jake.

"Everything alright here?" asked Zelda.

"WHO ARE THEY?!" asked Lizzy.

"Their Zelda and Mabel. My best friends." I said.

"Lucy... walk slower next time! you ran like Roadrunner!" Lucas huffs and puffs.

"WHO IS HE?!" asked George.

"He's Lucas, the drummer of the band I'm in." I says. "My band are all the friends I need! Let's go make a new song guys!"

We were about to leave when my old friends stopped me.

"Why did you replace us?" Ron asks.

"You replaced me!" I said. I walked out and I never saw them again.

(Flashback ends)

Now I'm a singer in the same band I've been in since middle school, but now I am a junior in high school, My old friends unfriended Dorothy and tried to get me to be with them again, I refused.
