The first time Jango met him, he could only see his back.

He had a slender figure, yet he was powerful. He moved too fast to see, but Jango could catch the sight of his back.

Precise thoughtful action from a thorough careful planning, the moment that man turned his face at him, Jango saw an elegant calculative face and a radiant of his intelligence.

When Jango looked at him, ah… he wanted to follow this man.

It might be a love at first sight, Jango wasn't really sure. He already pledged his loyalty to that man as they started the Kuroneko Pirate.

Kuro was cold and could sacrifice everything for the success of his plan. He took the burden of the entire crew on him. Kuroneko wouldn't last long without him.

Once, Kuro allowed Jango to come closer and put his hands on his shoulders. It was much smaller than he had thought. Still, he was strong and could be stronger from this point. Jango believed that and wanted to walk after him always.

However…,

"What… are you saying?" Jango couldn't believe what he heard.

"I am tired… I'll leave everything to you." Kuro said expressionlessly.

Jango couldn't read his plan, not when he showed that kind of face. He wasn't serious about it. It must have been a mistake.

"Are you serious?" Jango looked at him seriously behind his heart-shaped sunglasses.

Kuro returned his gaze and Jango knew.

Jango wanted to say 'don't,' but he couldn't. Kuro had decided it, even though it meant betraying the entire crew and him.

"The plan will start now. Assist me, Jango." Captain Kuro said slowly.

Jango was quiet for a moment before he said "Yes."

Even though it was painful, he also had decided to always watch Kuro's back.

A/N: This prompt is hard… T_T I can't really picture the feeling here huh? Well, at least I tried. How do you think? This is entertaining? I hope so. Ugh… I want to make SmoAce, but I just don't have heart to make Ace miserable more than right now… T_T. Someone must make humor for this prompt, seriously. Somehow…I feel depressed now… let me think if I can make Casting series with this prompt. Comments?
