Elliot looked across his desk at Olivia who was typing on her computer. He stared at her and sighed to himself.

Don walked out of his office, "Benson, Stabler you're needed at a scene."

Olivia got up and got her coat. "You coming?" She said looking over at Elliot just sitting there at his desk.

I was tired of my lady, we'd been together too long.

Like a worn-out recording, of a favorite song.

So while she lay there sleeping, I read the paper in bed.

And in the personals column, there was this letter I read:

Elliot looked over at Kathy as he sat in bed with a pen and paper next to the news paper he had read.

I didn't think about my lady, I know that sounds kind of mean.

But me and my old lady, had fallen into the same old dull routine.

So I wrote to the paper, took out a personal ad.

And though I'm nobody's poet, I thought it wasn't half-bad.

"Yes, I like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain.I'm not much into health food, I am into champagne.I've got to meet you by tomorrow noon, and cut through all this red tape.At a bar called O'Malley's, where we'll plan our escape."

Elliot sat at the bar and ordered a drink for himself. He made small talk with a few people at the bar and the bartender.

"Waiting for someone Detective," the bartender teased him.

Elliot laughed and nodded. "Yeah I am."

So I waited with high hopes, then she walked in the place.

I knew her smile in an instant, I knew the curve of her face.

It was my own lovely lady, and she said, "Oh, it's you."And we laughed for a moment, and I said, "I never knew"

Olivia stepped into the bar and looked around. She spotted Elliot sitting at the bar and went over to him. "Hey El. What are you doing here?"

Elliot smiled. "I was waiting for someone."

Olivia smiled back and wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed a kiss to his lips.

Elliot laughed. "I didn't you had trouble getting guys," he teased her.

Olivia lowered her head. "I thought that you and Kathy were together again."

"Olivia you're the one that I've looked for my whole life," he admitted and smiled.

"That you liked Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
